Hey folks, Harry here... About 24 hours till people start entering the Alamo Drafthouse for the 6th Annual BUTT-NUMB-A-THON!!! In about an hour - the traditional "Bagging Day" begins - where about 30 volunteers begin the process of removing approximately 12,000+ items from 100+ boxes and trying to evenly dispurse them into 250 bags. We're happy little elves!

The next 24 hours for the typical BNATer are filled with speculation, anticipation and the dreams of what may come. Will they get a good night's sleep tonight? Or will they toss and turn and be a nervous wreck? We'll see. However, there's a group of folks out there about to try and get into BNAT without tickets. The STANDBY LINE... Every year, various folks for one reason or another end up dropping out of BNAT due being hit by trains, extended prison sentences and some because they got stuck on a level in HALO 2 and just can't come till they finish the game. This leaves a small amount of seats available to... STANDBY PEOPLE.

Here's the rules for the Standby line. Because I don't want the typical overnight camping funk of a Standby Line.... Because I don't want attendees that stayed up all night waiting in line, and thus can't enjoy the following 24 hours... I set up these rules to try and make it as fair as possible.

There will be - approximately 15 to 25 Standby Tickets Available.

The line will form beginning at 9:30am to the south of the ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE Box Office.

This will not be a first come first serve situation. At 11:20 - 11:30 - 4 Representatives of the BNAT6 Audience will come outside. Each of these 4 Different Folks will begin chatting with the Standby Crowd and they will choose the lucky Standby People who will then be sold a ticket and let into, what many call... Geek Christmas, but what I call BUTT-NUMB-A-THON 6!!!

ATTENTION BNATers!!!

We will begin letting people into the Drafthouse at 10:30am. There will be a security check - so don't bring cameras, camera phones or anything that might make security throw you into a brick wall thus ending your life. Due to a very complicated schedule this year... we must get things started at straight up 12 Noon if we're to hit all the twists and turns as scheduled for this year's BNAT!

For those of you that didn't get in. I'll be posting up an alternative BNAT 6 line up. One that thematically parallels what is showing at BNAT 6. Feel free to attempt to find these films tomorrow and enjoy your very own film orgy at home! Ok - I'm off to begin Bagging!!!
