John Woo directing a live action HE-MAN movie' What the hell'!'!'
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here... Weirder and weirder is the life and career of John Woo. I must confess that the idea of Woo directing a live action HE-MAN movie has my attention. I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that, but I grew up with the cartoon and was always disappointed that the Dolph Lundgren movie had very little to do with the cartoon. What is double weird about all this is I jumped from MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE to TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES and there were a bunch of rumors circulating a year or so ago about Woo directing a CGI NINJA TURTLES movie. This HE-MAN business seems legit... Variety is reporting it. Now, I just hope he's doing the original series (minus some of the blatant homo-erotic undertones, if that's even possible) and not the anime bullshit new HE-MAN show. Oh, and I want to see Battlecat in all his glory! That is all.
