It ain't Dark Knight, but it is produced by Dawn Wells - Mary Ann and Adam West together...oh boy. They start shooting at the end of the month...

Was touched on in Army Archards column in Variety about a week ago. Can't say how I know, but I work closely with people on the inside. It's happening. Being prepped right now. With the Kaufman Company - director Paul Kaufman. They are part of Artisin Entertainment's TV wing.

Shooting begins soon. Exec. produced by Dawn Wells, Larry Germain, and Paul Kaufman. Script by Duanne Poole. Adam West and Bert Ward both portray themselves in present day, and as The show goes into flashbacks - real events from the set/behind the scenes stuff - actors will portray them and the rest of the cast when they were younger. Ala Surviving Gilligan's Island, which the same production team did, and got huge ratings for CBS last October.

Adam West is pretty cool by the way.

I usually send in stuff to Moriarty but I see you are covering the Batman Movie. Yeah they are casting it right now. It has Adam West & Burt Ward trying to track down their stolen Batmobile reminiscing about how the show got started. It is titled "BACK TO THE BATCAVE" HOLY FLASHBACKS! HOW BATMAN AND ROBIN BECAME A TELEVISION CLASSIC! Duane Poole is the writer (he also wrote the Gilligan's island TV Movie).

the casting office has been seeing tons of people to play the young Adam West, Burt Ward, Yvonne Craig, Frank Gorshin, Julie Newmar, Cesar Romero, Vincent Price, Burgess Meredith...etc. This could be gloriously bad, or just bad... Guess we'll see.
