Hey folks, Harry here with a creepy report about THE SCORPION KING, and this writer's (Unknown Quantity's) fears about the similar writing origins of THE SCORPION KING and ATTACK OF THE CLONES... However, SCORPION KING is co-written with Stephen Sommers, whereas ATTACK OF THE CLONES is co-written by George Lucas. Let us hope that that difference will protect our dearest beloved Star Wars film... Grab your rosaries, your light sabre and begin saying your "Hell Vaders"... Maybe it'll do some good.

Thought I'd drop you a line and give you a short but valid opinion (in my eyes).

Seems I've just recently discovered that Jonathan Hales, co-scribe of the upcoming, greatly anticipated, Attack of the Clones is also the co-writer of the Rock's upcoming star vehicle "The Scorpion King". Not new you say... there's more.

I've seen the Scorpion King, and hence this note becomes more of a warning about Episode 2 than anything else. The Scorpion King is pure... tripe. Nothing but a sad, cliched, poorly acted, horribly written and sadly directed piece of garbage. They basically took the script from Conan (one of my favorites), dumbed it down, made a few changes and then gave the characters a lot of lame "I've heard this a hundred times before" type of lines and ran with it. My point? If this is any indication of Hales' writing ability, then I would like to forwarn everyone that episode 2 might not be as enticing as the trailer makes it seem. Keep your expectations low
