You know, if we were living in Hollywood's 'Golden Age", Bruce would be bigger than Errol Flynn.

I can't wait to get this book, and could someone please explain to me why this man isn't a A-movie star? He has so many fans, although he has starred in some shitty movies, but which star hasn't. Cosner hasn't made a decent flick since JFK, and he's still getting a shit load of work. Bruce Campbell, and Jason Lee are my two favorite actors and I prey for a day they star in a movie togeather. So says me!

You referred to Brucie's World Tour... I have information that suggests there is a world outside the Eew.S.A. I know, it's just a rumour, but people are whispering about a couple of elusive continents, somewhere out there. I'll get back to you as soon as I can confirm this breaking news.

What's the big deal about Bruce Cambell? Granted he starred in the Evil Dead series which was cool but hasn't done anything since except a few cheesey movies and that dumb show where he's dressed as a pirate. With all the stars of sci-fi who have longevity in their careers and made it I don't get the obsession with him.

Bruce talk backs are the only ones that get 95% positive reactions, instead of 95% negative. proof that if he can sway the jaded masses of AICNers, then he truly is a god among men.

I too have heard that there are some places not in America. The rest of the world seems to have caught onto this 'theory' but it may need to be substantiated. Rumour has it you can't buy spray-on cheese and you sometimes have to walk more than 3 feet at a time, so its probably not worth going there.

What About Phoenix, AZ?!

What did we ever do to you, Bruce Campbell? Do we not buy tickets to your movies in this town? Do we not watch your television shows? Do you hold Phoenix, AZ to blame for "Cleopatra 2525" usurping "Jack of All Trades"? I demand satisfaction! A duel of the chins, it shall be! Mine against yours! The only catch is you must come to Phoenix. Fear my chin!
Why not Boston?

Hey Harry, what the hell's the deal? Why is the man not coming to Boston? He's got a strong following up here. I am pissed about the fact I have to travel down to New York to see him. I hate New York!

And I wanna become a filmmaker, and his book is loaded with that stuff! I'll still go to Austin...it's just that I dont think my parental figure will allow me to drive that far in HIS Jeep!
Let's define "world tour"
by the_patriot

Soooo...apparently "World Tour" translates into English as "repeated visits to OREGON." What the heck is that all about? Hey Bruce- how about somewhere that's a possibility for all us fans in NM, CO, KS, AZ?? Just trim one of the Oregon appearances! PS: You're still a god.

I live in Knoxville. Hell, Bruce, I'd make the trip down to Atlanta for ya', but I have a damned wedding to go to on the 26th. Come on Bruce, you need to come back to the area that spawned the haunted cabin. I'd love to be in the same room with the man who gave me so much enjoyment in Maniac Cop, Hudsucker Proxy, Crimewave, geeez and I guess those Dead movies too. Hell, I'll take the jump on everbody and get you to sign the first page of Bubba Ho-Tep in my copy of Lansdales Writer of the Purple Rage....Can you hear it? Its TN calling, and it wants you.

I can only assume that Bruce will be checking this page so here is my plea. Bruce, buddy, pal, make a stop in Central Florida please. Just because I am a huge fan does not mean I am going to drive to F-ing South Florida. That's like um... hundreds of miles away. You have a huge following here too so it'll be worth your time. I would suggest a Barnes and Noble in Orlando, that way you'll get the most people from the surrounding areas.

Fans in KS can go to Saint Louis for Gateway. I'm from Kansas, and that's were I'm going. I already bought my tickets months ago. At least it's not some piddly book signing - it's a full blown three day convention. Gateway's a blast. I went there last year when it was MST3K and Terry Pratchet. It's more than worth the 4 hour drive.

I'm kinda worried the Oregon is not covered in the "World Tour" but don't lump S.F. in with this Lumber Jack Joe state. Does Bruce live in Oregon? Or has some skank action with a girl in plaid?!? Did the Evil Dead move to downtown Portland and miss Bruce?!? So where in freakin' hell will be the Barns for the the San Francisco date? There's only 62 to choose from. Whah, whah, whah...blah...blah...blah. --Syd

Yeesh, I could understand if you lived somewhere remote from those places, but the people who were complaining that Bruce isn't going to be in Pheonix or Rhode Island? Hello, Los Angeles isn't THAT far from Pheonix (probably a 6 hour drive) and Providence, Rhode Island is very close to New York (2.5 hours) So what's the problem? 6 hours is not much time to spend if it's so important you'll complain about it. It takes me 5 hours to get to Seattle (the nearest place to me) and I've gone there on road trips in which I've stayed less than 24 hours. And that was just to go there, nothing special. To see Bruce Campbell? I'd definitely do that.

I totally lost respect for this asshole after reading his cracks he made at previous public events, where he talks shit about Raimi and other popular filmmakers. It's obvious he's so full of sour grapes his eyeballs are purple. He clearly thinks that with what little he's done and the worshipful fan base he has, he ought to be as big as Jim Carrey, and he's not and it pisses him off. Well, tough titty. Show some range beyond "ga-rooovy," and then maybe Hollywood will give a shit about you.

Why is it americans always think a world tour encompasses solely the states? Could just be the american way of thinking ... there's a song that encompasses that thought "We are the world" ... well fack that ... Bruce come to TOronto ... I'll getcha liad ... hell I'll sell you my sister ... Chapters John/Richmond ... next to paramount theatres ... I'm sure they'd gladly do a tandem event .. considering they are in the same building. Hell we cna get Chyna down there for multiple signings why not bruce? www.chapters.ca (now owned by www.indigo.ca)

He should play his big chinned predecessor in a wacky bio-pic. He should also work with his evil twin, Jefferey Combs, in the next "Phantasm" movie.

Apocalypse does not mean "disaster". It has a very specific meaning dealing with the end of the world and considering WHO said it, he wouldnt mean it as any god induced disaster. It was a stupid line, call a spade a spade. The movie was riddled with terrible lines. Just because a movie is light hearted fun, doesnt excuse horrible dialogue. Its dismaying to see so many wonderful resources go into a film and such simple changes could improve it.

For these reasons: 1--I admire his choice of weapons. Chainsaw, DB SxS Remington, and, at the end of Army of Darkness, the one and only Winchester '92. Pure poetry. 2--I get a kick out of the Evil Dead series, as silly as it is. 3--His world tour, for the first time in the history of the world, is pointedly ignoring all those squalid, overpopulated piles of excrement back east in favor of Oregon.
