She's the blonde in the trailer. Watch the end of it while she is being pulled up. Half of her face is ripped off revealing the mechanical substructure. The trailer/teaser is incredible. I'm wondering if Miramax is going to release this one here, ala Mononoke Hime(Princess Mononoke). The characters stayed pretty true to the Tezuka manga, as they should have. Old Monkey is pleased.

"In that movie 'Congo'... how can you tell which monkeys are real, and which monkeys are just guys in suits?" "That's a real monkey." "NO! That's a guy in a bloody suit!" "OK, well THAT'S a guy in a suit." "NO! THAT'S A REAL BLOODY MONKEY!" "We need to see this again..." God speed, blue man. Hey, Crow, remember that... oop! I should respond to that email you sent me. I'll do that right now. Hold on. This has been a Moment with Huntsman! "Can we eat that crow?"

...especially considering how big it is and how super fast it downloaded. As good or better than most other trailers that I have downloaded. Looks like a good film. I personally am sad to see anime go the way of the 99% computer animation fluff like Disney does. That may look good, but it is not nearly as impressive as truely great cell animation like Akira and even the classic Disney films.
Otomo and Disney

You can't compare Otomo and Disney. They deal with different subject matter, have different audiences and age groups, different style, etc. So it's pretty much useless to say something like "I like anime. Otomo is WAY better than corporate Disney crap!" In short, it's like saying "I like The Sound and the Fury WAY better than Alice in Wonderland!" I just hate when people use the subject of anime as an opportunity to bash Disney, or American films in general. Disney pioneered cinematic techniques still in use today. And if I'm not mistaken, Otomo himself is a fan of "Dumbo".
