Jean Claude Van-Damme called him the "Steven Spielberg" of action films. JCVD must have jacked up on coke when he said that. I feel that John Woo is the best action director despite his fucked up films like Mission: Impossible 2, Hard Target, and Broken Arrow. Tsui Hark's best film has just got to be Jet Li's "Once Upon a Time in China."

Go see: "CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON" The best film of 2000. Fuck Black Mask 2, Black Mask sucked cock like a 100 year old granny. Zu is much better. My dream is that Zhang Ziyi would be my love slave forever and forever and FOREVER!

What amazes me, is that Tsui reveals he was actually thinking when he came up with Black Mask. i never imagined he put a single thought into it, because it was horrible. According to this interview, he labored over the character and the point/theme of the movie????? Too bad, all that thinking for nothing. Could care less about a sequel. Only interested in Zu 2, but Tsui hasnt made a good film in so long, i cant help but be worried it'll stink.
