From whut I hear, they have half of the 5 million they need to do the flick, and I pray to all the higher beings they get the rest of the funding. I can't wait to see Bruce and Reggie kickin ass together trying to finally defeat The Tall Man. I just hope they get that movie made. And BTW, for those of us that haven't read the Phantasm's End script, jut what the hell is Reggie doin with a monkey for a partner. I know they change every movie, but goin outside of the human species to cast a buddy is a pushing it a bit. Will the monkey talk? Will it fling zombie killing feces? Will it indeed be Reg's love interest? People want to know, spread the love.

I've worked with, and known, Reggie and all I can say is that he is one of the nicest and coolest guys around. He gave a young kid out of film school the greatest day of shooting he could have ever imagined on a little film called Drop Off. You're the best, man!

Talk about your butt-numb-a-thons! In 1988, I worked for the market research department at Universal Pictures. I attended all of the test screenings, including about 4-5 for PHANTASM II during the late spring and early summer. My boss and I weren't even allowed to have seats--we had to sit on the floor of the Cineplex Odeon and watch the same films over and over. This included repeated screenings of CASUAL SEX, THE GREAT OUTDOORS, SHAKEDOWN . . . you name it. What made the summer of "blue jeans sticky with filthy, congealed jujubes" bearable for this reporter was Reggie Bannister in PHANTASM II. What a cool guy. What a likeable presence on the big screen. Was he hot standing next to his Hemicuda or what? Everytime my boss and I peeled our rear ends off the Cineplex floor, we walked out quoting Reggie-isms and Tall Man quips to each other, and it was fun. Plus, I got to chat with Angus Scrim once, and he is such a gentleman. Reggie, if you are reading this, I love you.

Reggie has got to be one of the most down to Earth guys in the film business. In interviews and on film, he so easygoing and deviod of bullshit, its hard not to love that. He isnt Brando, but i have new respect for him after reading that he enjoyed (The Phantasm) Reggie being unintentionally funny. i had always assumed that wasnt intentional, that maybe it was just how he came across, instead of it being a concious descision. He's a good guy. i hope they can pull off one last great Phantasm film, because the last one wasnt very good and would be a sour note to end the series on.

We love 'Phantasm' because there ain`t nothin` else quite like it. Watch the VERY FIRST movie. It`s a little dated by today`s standards, but it`s a great, dreamlike "what-the-hell-is-going-on-her e" kind of horror flick. All the sequels are subpar (sorry Reg but it`s true), but at least see the first one.

I just watched it again the other day and at one point eliot is showing ET his star wars action figures. Now after seeing the ET delegation to the republic in Phantom Menace, I wonder if ET recognized any of those action figures as fellow galactic republicans but was trying not to give it away. I know, it's just a puppet and spielberg had no idea Lucas would do this 20 years later, but anyway it's a funny situation.

Wow. Damned glad I just read this interview. Man o man, imagine my fucking JOY when I saw I got to read an interview with someone from Phantasm. PHANTASM!!!!!!!! why do they keep cranking these shit bombs out? The first one pretty much sucked donkey balls and they have gotten worse with the sequels. They are PERFECT movies for MS3TK (God rest it's soul). Oh wait a sec...Bruce Campbell is going to be in part 5 right? Oh joy! oh joy! oh joy!!! What the fuck is everyone on this board's love fest with Bruce fuckin Campbell? Has anyone ever actually SEEN his movies/tv shows??? I am seriously doubting it. I think everyone hear loves bruce campbell cause its the "cool" thing to do.
