It'll be really good. Plus, it's difficult to go wrong with Chow Yun-Fat. Even THE OCCUPANT, which sucked, kicked ass because of his performance.
Hey, so what now with 2046?

Has that Takuya Kimura managed to shelve the film because he's "extremely busy"? I find Takuya's excuse to be plain idiotic. Oh, so he's the only one who's busy, and Tony Leung and Faye Wong aren't?!?!?!?! Takuya has a responsibility to finish the film. If I were Wong Kar-Wai, I'd kick his ass.

Ummmmmmmmm........RIGHT....... . Yeah, Happy Together, In the Mood for Love and Ashes of Time are rehashes of Chungking Express. ROFL! If you're talking about Fallen Angels, of COURSE it's like Chungking Express - it's supposed to be the third story in Chungking Express! So you accusing WKW of being a hack rings very empty indeed.

...but not for everyone's taste. This is especially true if you are an opinionated jackass who thinks they know more about movies than they actually do. I really get a kick out of all of the posters who rant about the lack of quality and injustices of Hollywood when chances are they have no idea how hard it is to make a movie. American Beauty deserved every award it received, not that it has to do with the subject people should be talking about here, and I love Ang Lee, but why do people find it neccesary to negate one artist in order to build another up. Whenever I read this kind of negative shit I realize it reeks of petty jealousy. Don't you have another customer to ring up?
Wong Kar-Wai's work is amazing.

This should royally kick ass. Wong Kar-Wai's work is astounding ("Fallen Angels" is one of my fav flicks) and I love Chow Yun-Fat, so there's no way to really fuck this one up.
My Favorite Hong Kong Director Will Always Be Fork Lift Ful.

Fork Lift Ful, known to cinephiles and action lovers worldwide, for such films as RAIN OF BULLETS, CROOKED COP, SUBLIME DRAGON/VENERABLE GHOST, FIRE FIGHT and GUNNED DOWN ON TRIAD STREET. Jean Claude Van Damme hoped to get Fork to direct him as twin vigilantes in DUPLICATE JUSTICE but reported Fork replied that he only works with actors. The outspoken Fork was also overheard telling Oliver Stone, "I don't care if you developed an attraction for Asian girls while you were in Vietnam, I'm not getting you women. I'm a director, not a pimp." Fork is also critical of his fellow Hong Kong helmers. "What the fuck is wrong with Woo? BROKEN ARROW? Okay, Slater would have had combat and survival training as an airforce pilot but a Delta Force unit would have been sent to recover those nukes. FACE OFF? You can't change someone's entire body. Travolta's daughter was hot though." Fork will make his American debut with EVERYTHING THE HARD WAY, a script by Todd Van Dorn, starring Bruce Willis and Maculey Culkin as cops on the edge battling an Anarchy Cult.
