Man, this guy's on the money...

...when he says he "don't really write reviews." Jesus, what a suckass review! Okay, let's review what we've learned: this guy's been reading this site for 4 years. He's never had a scoop until now. And Bruce Willis wears a "bluish" Gilligan's hat. Okay, thanks for everything, buddy. Oh, wait, I almost forgot, and they need to edit Robin Wright Penn's scenes. Okay. Thank you for exactly SQUAT. Here's the reason I come to sites like this -- to READ FRIGGIN' REVIEWS ABOUT A MOVIE. This is NOT a review. Why did you even bother posting this, Harry?
Well, that was a good review....

I've heard "This review sucks, it's too long, poorly written, too short, the reviewers pretentious, the guy doesn't know what he's talking about, it gives away too much of the plot, it doesn't give away enough.." and every little variation in between. The fact of the matter is, these are reviews written by people, different people have different styles, such is the human condition. Live with it, and be glad you got something at all.
i wish Moriarty's reviews were this short!

Even thought this review was short, The less I know about this movie, the better!!! He forgot to mention that Samuel Jackson has PHUCKEEEED UP Hair...Every time the trailer comes on, the audience is totally into it, but the minute Mr. Jackson and his J.F hairdo (just fucked) appears, it's like the movie turns into a comedy... Honey, he should have POMADE THAT MOTHER DOWN!!! I will try to keep a St8 face during Unbreakble but why oh why do I feel like it's gonna turn funny once we see THE HAIR??????

I appreciate reviews when they are actually reviews! I don't want to know a whole lot about this movie, but saying "It was good and Bruce Willis wore a funny hat!" isn't really a review. Yes, I have become so spoiled as to review a reivew, but that's my right dangit! And I will excercise that right as much as I can. As a whole we have all become spoiled, instead of being happy that we have movies, we have to say "the acting was over-the-top, the visual effects were bad, Anakin said "Wizards!", ". We all love to review everything, and reviews are subject to reviewing sometimes too. (Boy this was a stupid post.)

...you just reviewed our reviews for the reviewer's review, so you're guilty of reviewing reviews too. Whew!

The guy was just writing about his feeling towards the movie, okay. He wasn't writing social commentary. You stupid assholes need to chill the hell out. It's disgusting how personal you idiots take this shit. Why don't you take a stab at writing a film review yourself before you criticize the work of someone else.

Harry, it's seems like you'll print anything. I don't want to know any spoilers either, but was this really worth putting up on your site? Besides, anytime a reviewer says something about the skillfull acting style of Bruce Willis, or a possible Oscar nomination for him, I want to go fall asleep on some railroad tracks. That guy can't smirk/act his way out of a paper bag. Sam Jackson's hair shows better acting technique than Willis in the fucking trailer, for Pete's sake!

Since when do you arrogant cunts take a day off? Sure, everyone comes to this site looking for interesting film biz - but so what if someone writes something you don't like, or isn't up to much - who gives a shit? You think anyone's impressed with your ability to slag someone off 'cause you don't think much of what they wrote? I'm thinking you guys don't think much at all. Get a fucking life!

Camus dude, I cant believe you said 'C**T' , you made me feel like Beavis... Shocking! Shocking! Shocking! I'm guessing you're either Scottish or Irish cuz it's a word which Americans just don't have a handle on. Then again,....Why would a C**T need a handle anyway? As for the review, I defend the right of Harry and Co, to put up "Notes" like the one above because it tells us a lot about the evolution a film has to go through, Test screenings etc, and it's interesting when you hear about stars showing up at these things in disguise. Brad Pitt for instance, goes to screenings of his movies wearing a William Baldwin mask, confident that he won't be bothered by "fans" at all during the show

You're ragging on the guy who wrote this review because you're jealous he got to see the film and you didn't. So what if he didn't write a solid review? It's his first time.

We''re in he 21st century and you guys are still ragged by a WORD!!!!!!! FOR FUCKS SAKE ITS JUST A WORD. An ENGLISH word by the way - etymologically it's quite interesing but ill leave you to looks that up by yourselves. And the reason Americans don't use it is the same reason we English don't use 'goddam', 'buddy' or 'freakin' - we all sound like idiots. By the way have you noticed how I deflected any mention of Unbreakable in this TB. I think we should all wait till it comes out. You will only thnk yourselves if you do. Remember SE7EN.Imagine if no one had hut up about that and given away the movie. Or SIXTH SENSE for that matter. Give the guy a break. Diversity makes the world go round.

Guys,guys,guys... to much ado about nothing. So the guy saw the film, so he doesn't know how to write a proper review. He can get better. He doesn't all of us jerking around assaulting or defending him. he just needs some advice. On how to write freeking reviews. Quite simple actually. Just think of some basic elements that make up a film (acting, story, directing, pictures etc.) and write about them as seen in the film.

Hasn't it occured to anyone here that maybe the guy does't want anything, abuse, critisism, advise or otherwise but merely the opportunity to say he saw a film a lot of people are interested in and that it's looking good (in his opinion). It's not required that everybody submit an opus simply to pass on a "piece" of information, nor is it neccesary for people to go "nuts" just because (in their opinion) it isn't good enough or that I use the word "cunt" (not that there aren't quite a few of you out there) .

I agree with JTrenton on this one, in this case, the less we know the better. This review did for me what I needed it to do, it gave a recommendation to a movie I am HIGHLY anticipating, but gave away nothing. I think best judgement was used on that one.

Here, in the fabulous forum of film, we are often presented with the opinion of the nervous & new scooper. The average guy who has been presented with the chance to display his good fortune among the saracstic arse suckers here at AICN, he bellies up to the keypad and throws down a few shy words about a moment in time that he was privy to. What happens next is as much a savage display of supreme idiocy as can be expected in these forums from time to time. If Harry pushes a story that doesn't seem to be of the highest journalistic intergrity or unfold as a stalwart revelation set to rupture the nobel prize or make film students start masturbating, then he's branded a hack or a slow scoop. If you fuck nuggets have a scoop then send it to Harry, but don't yang about it if eight minutes prior to reading it here you saw in on some other site. This guy saw Unbreakable! I'm actually quite jealous and happy for the guy, so what if his review wasn't the one to make Gene rise from the grave. I hope this guy sees LOTR before most of you... (myself excluded BWAHAHAHA!)

Camus, I was of course joking about the shocking! part. StraxBoy, How you got "deep seted repression"(sic) out of my post is a mystery considering the joke I made. OpieCooper, I liked some bits of your post, but I was in danger of being seperated from my keyboard by continental drift by the time I reached the second third and had to break off my perusal. Personally. I'm looking forward to seeing Sam The Man turn into a liverpool scally and steal a few car stereos (heh)...

...hmmmm....well, opiecooper, it certainly seems like you're the brains o' this outfit. Thank god. You've really, finally, put us all in our place with your flamboyant display of mental acuity and incredible show of time-on-your-hands. Thanks for proving to everyone here that my earlier comments were so dreadfully misplaced.
