It's 5 am and I just caught the trailor. Kinda creeped me out in the typical M. Night style. Nice. Looking forward to seeing this now. Now we wait for people telling us they know the twist from seeing the preview. The birds are chirping outdoors, and cars are starting for work. Time for bed.

This is the first preview that looks like the movie could be even better. But that is just all hype. Alot of pressure falls on M Night's "suprise element". Or is there even one at all.

If it were actually happening to me, im sure I would be dazed as well, but it seems so amazingly melodramatic. He doesn't look at his kid when hugging. The end note, '131 people died so you can finally see your destiny" that was quite creepy. Who killed them, and why didn't that entity just sneak in the room late at night and converse? Responsibility is always hard. The ocean-view lead in photo is excellently moody...nice

Damn, hit enter accidentally. Sorry for the double title. Maybe it was just me, but I thought the trailer was great. Not overly melodramatic at all. I imagine that if you were in a train wreck, were the only survivor, and came off without a scratch, you'd say "Where are the other passengers?" with the same inflection. That line gave me chills, it was delivered perfectly. That does, I'm selling half my Pearl Harbor stock at hsx, and buying Unbreakable stock.

Wow, looks like a kick-ass movie. I'd really pay anything to see a Sam Jackson movie, and re-teaming him with Bruce Willis makes this movie and trailer look awesome. Kind of creepy, but I bet this movie will rock. Can't wait for November. //"I knew it, I'm surrounded by assholes!" - Dark Helmet.
Mick Foley Is Unbreakable!

I thought the website was neat too, a sort of "are these stories real" feel that really gives the story an air of legitimacy. Yes, it's jumping on the Blair Witch Bandwagon, but it's nicely done. If they add more stories, I wanna see them add Mick Foley to the unbreakable atheletes. By having a real guy (I'm assuming all the other tales are apocryphal, or at least wildly inaccurate) mixed in it adds the sense of "If this the emis?" to the thing. McMahon, get on the phone!
IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT "UNBREAKABLE" IS ABOUT, READ THIS...

OK, I took this text from a couple of different sites and sources (sorry, can't remember wich ones) and combined the two into one flowing document. There's really no spoilers, just an in depth look at the plot. Things will probably be somewhat different considering this was written before they even started filming. But anyway, here it is... "Shyamalan describes 'Unbreakable' as, 'an old-style suspense movie in which bizarre things come into play.' That is only scratching the surface of this perfectly titled screenplay. 'Unbreakable' is a more intellectually and emotionally complex story and is, for those reasons alone, an even more rewarding and challenging story than The Sixth Sense. 'Unbreakable' is a touching story that takes place in the 'real world' but where its very human characters experience some truly uncanny events. That is not to say that 'Unbreakable' will be over some people's heads or that it isn't meant to entertain a mass audience. It is just a more complex and mature story than 'The Sixth Sense' was and it moves at a very deliberate pace in telling its tale. It requires a greater emotional and intellectual investment from its audience than to just wait for the next creepy ghost scene to occur. Shyamalan's screenplay is so charming and involving however, that you will gladly allow him the time. The destination he takes you to here is well worth the wait. 'Unbreakable' looks at the life of DAVID DUNNE Dunne (Bruce Willis), a security guard at Philadelphia's Veterans Stadium, who has miraculously survived a horrifying tragedy. This terrifying and costly ordeal prompts the emotionally withdrawn David to gradually reassess his life. David uncovers many amazing things about himself during the course of his often reluctant inner journey. He also works at repairing his relationships with his adoring son JEREMY and his estranged wife MEGAN, a physical therapist who was his college sweetheart. David is aided on his journey by the sickly yet amazing ELIJAH PRICE (Samual L. Jackson), a comic book store owner who is seemingly the physical and spiritual opposite of David Dunne. Elijah helps David realize just who and what he may truly be. THE STORY... The story starts in 1961 with a short scene involving the birth of ELIJAH PRICE (Samuel L. Jackson), one of the film's two central characters. We are in a department store and there's a doctor just arriving. He's too late to do much - the baby has already been born. The doctor inspects the mother, who is fine, then turns to the baby, which is screaming hysterically. As he inspects the baby, the doctor goes pale

Sophomore jinx? Nah.

Not much of a chance of a sophomore jinx on this one. After all, it is Shyamalan's FOURTH feature film as a director. But seriously, "Unbreakable" is an awesome screenplay, although the "twist" that Shyamalan came up with for the ending, though perfectly logical, will probably piss off more people than it wows.

When Samuel L. Jackson said to Bruce Willis, "Are you ready for the truth?" It reminded me The Matrix. Anyway, the trailer is much much better than what I expected. I know the guy behind The Sixth Sense won't disappoint me.

I thought the Sixth Sense sucked major ass--especially that god-awful opening scene with Donnie Wahlberg. The twist was so ridiculous it was insulting to my intelligence. Like he could go a WHOLE YEAR and never realize that his wife was paying no attention to his existence? As if he could keep having those little clever coincidences like that bit with her taking the check, to convince him that the reason she didn't notice him was because she was just pissed off. BAD SCREENWRITING. But anyway, I have to admit that the Unbreakable trailer was pretty cool...sent a little chill down my spine. Cool idea. I just hope he doesn't spoil it with some ridiculous twist, like the whole thing is a dream or some crap like that.

I just couldn't restrain myself from tearing up the lie about "The Sixth Sence" being bad. I apologize for my outburst. No I don't. Bruce Willis kicks ass no matter what crap/art he stars in and you know what, I hope he don't get caught in his new image. I hope that he, between his new exciting kind of work, can find place to for example make a "Hudson Hawk 2". The Kid might suck but that's not Willis' fault.
this looks like a winner!

i just downloaded the trailer, i must say i was amazed! the sixth sense was a very good movie (not academy award best film worthy in my opinion though, i would rather have seen Being John Malkovich or Fight Club there, nevermind) and this looks like it could be another winner for Mr Shyamalan and Bruce Willis, as well as Samuel L. Jackson! just the title is excellent damnit! what's most funny about it is how it spoofs (?) The Matrix, the official site is at www.areyouunbreakable.com, a question just like the Matrix's official site url and in the trailer Samuel L. Jackson's character sounds very much like Laurence Fishburne's Morpheus, don't you think? i really really hope this one is as good as it looks! too bad i live in Europe though, it seems it'll open in Europe around January 2001... that's so far from now!

That's a good trailer, huh? It spells out the preliminary story, which in itself is quite intriguing. It shows you Bruce Willis trying to look bad ass, how old is he now anyway? And what's his obsession with doing a family movie every 3 to 5 years. That ruins his otherwise badass image. Come on Bruce, "The Kid," bad career move buddy; was your agent drunk at the time. Anyway, back to the trailer. So the shard of glass is sailing around, and it advertises Mr. Night himself. Then Sammy J pops up, with that hair, wild man, wild. Its when he starts talking that I notice what's been bothering me. He sounds like Morpheus, and the noise the shards of glass is making is the same sound as when the Matrix rebels get transported from the computer program world to their ship. Isn't that the same noise. And why did Bruce ask about the other passengers, why would he care? He didn't seem to interested in his family either. He looked insane. POSSIBLE SPOILER RIGHT HERE: I haven't read the script, but could Sammy J. be the one who caused the crash, isn't he supposed to be a "fragile genius" or something. END POSSIBLE SPOILER So if all else fails, at least the trailer is intriguing.
