Borat 3? What shitty troll post. Anyways I can't wait for this film so far Gervais is 2-2 with The Office and Extras. If this is even 78 percent as good as those two it should be amazing.

I wasn't sure if Cemetery Junction was going to be an actual comedy, or more of a dramatic thing. So, this is good news for me, as I was hoping for a comedy.

Also, "2-2" looks like "2 wins, 2 losses". Not "2 out of 2".

I think he needs to cast some new guys. The Hangover felt so awesome because there was no Will Ferell, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd etc. No Apatow involvement either. I miss American Comedies like that. You know what I mean? I still enjoy 40 year old Virgin from time to time, but meh, I want different.

The hangover was a good'ol'merican comedy. He does need a larger group to cast from and I think his bigger audience will mean a bigger pool to choose from, or atleast feel comfortable approaching for a project. And thank you gavdiggity, I am one from the north .. canada that is .. apparently we hate 'mericans and say eh

TIME CHANGE FOR 7/23 AVATAR COMIC-CON PANEL...
by PennsyDeux
Jul 10th, 2009
06:43:04 PM
It will begin at 3PM PDT on 7/23 and run until 4:15. Fox switched spots with Summit Entertainment's fall/winter preview, so that will go off at 1:45. The reason was that, per Mori's HitFix site, is "fearing the 'Twilight' faithful would go manic if they had to wait too long in Hall H (after no doubt camping out all night), Summit Entertainment has smartly switched Thursday preview slots with 20th Century Fox."

That made no sense.. His character in The Office was completely different than in Extras. He was actually playing a character in The Office, while he was basically playing himself the comedian in Extras. And I'm guessing you haven't seen anything else he's done.. soo.. nice call.

...he has exactly the same mannerisms, and plays basically the same character - himself, to varying degrees. Anyone who seen his early work on The 11 O'Clock Show and Rick Gervais Meets... will agree, he's made a career out of it - fuck, even in Stardust he was the exact same. Now I'm not saying he's without talent - I was a big fan of The Office and Extras, but when I see him doing the exact same schtick ten years down the line, it fucks me right off.
It's funny and it didn't give the movie away like most do.

About him being a one-trick-pony. But it's a damned funny pony. Don't like his stand-up for some reason, but the shows - and especially the XFM radio shows - are comedy gold. Karl's arm-wrestle with the down syndrome kid, the hippo that swallowed a circus midget, Karl's father sticking the Forest Gump kid in a wheely bin...the list goes on.

And I'm not saying that the character aren't different, but Ricky still employs the same acting style to personify both. He basically never stops being Ricky Gervais. Unlike say Peter Sellars who completely inhibited the various characters he played. Ricky is always Ricky. He even acknowledges himself on the radio show - refers to himself as a one trick pony (admittedly in jest). That all said, he is great in all his shows. I actually liked the second season of extras more than the first. Poor old Lenny Henry...

For those with Mac computers, fine, great - it will go through and play properly. However, when you direct link a .mov file like that it means it has to pre-download on a PC platform. Which means it appears nothing is really happening on a PC system.
