Shia was indeed terrible on Conan..the guy has the personality of a vaccuum cleaner. In his defense, he might have just been exhausted but yeah, it was a definite fast forward for me.

but he still hasn't topped the time he went to the Attack of the Clones opening. That was one of the funniest things I've ever seen; and that's from a guy who saw AotC at the midnight opening.

"Charisma Vacuum"? Really?

I thought Shia seemed upbeat and energetic, considering how exhausted he must be with media interviews...I thought Phil Jackson was much more of a black hole interview, if we must dub someone a charisma vacuum...
And Triumph was great...

Shia uses the word "outrageous" almost as much as Miss Fox does all those "uber-"words. I was happy to see Triumph again.

I've only seen like two of his movies, so I mostly know him from seeing him on talk shows and I think he's been really funny. In fact I love the one time on Letterman when he explained his Walgreens arrest. Who knew pimple cream was such a menace?

Why is this guy famous anyways? I sense a Jew connection with him and Speilberg but I'm too lazy to IMDB that.

Disturbia. He was very nice. He likes the action movies, and stuff. This was a few months before Transformers came out, and he was already signing pics.

Hey Jeff Zucker has got this all figured out. Who cares about all the money Tonight used to make. Screw that. The heartland is going to love Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.

Jeff Zucker = worst network head ever????

Or are they just killing off episodes? Because they had a season finale last time they were on I thought? Like a cliff hanger.
Actually, Conan's ratings are killing Letterman...

...in the key demos for 18-34 year olds. NBC doesn't care about the "Heartland" as much as they care about the 18-34 year olds which sell ads for the station. Triumph fits right into that demo, and I'm sure Jeff Zucker is pushing it...

For Conan's dominant ratings...good for him. I think the network execs are looking for him to be competition for the younger set (i.e. Stewart, Colbert, Kimmel)and are not worried about Letterman anymore.

That star wars thing nearly made me faint from laughing so hard. And the hippie stuff was classic too. You know what would rock? Triumph doing an interview with the Muppets. Especially with that anemic "nice guy" Kermit. And then he could hump Miss Piggy and chew up those two old dudes - show them how heckling is REALLY done. All of it laced with four-letter-words, of course. Then he could start on ALF. Think of it - all those overhyped over-the-hill hand puppets for Triumph to poop on. The mind reels. In fact, I'm feeling a little faint. Gotta have a lie-down. Later.

Remember all the weird roles he was getting before he became "famous?" Will Smith's plucky pal in "I, Robot?" Bernie Mac's cousin (????) in Charlie's Angels 2? These roles were absolutely unnecessary for the film, yet he's there. Somebody has been championing him for a long time.
Shia's a great guy.
