holy shit that looks like it could come out of a 1980's magazine. hell, i think my parents have the original copy of that in a magazine in the guest bathroom. i do have to give props for the rest of the top 10, good stuff. you can tell some people put a lot of work into this, which is more than you could say for most of hollywood these days

But the sentrybot is my personal fave. They're all good though and you know what, you're all winners, except Ryan Parker is the actual winner, but you can call yourself a winner, even though it's not technically correct. Well done!

Data East was the video game company!!!!! Mayor Kuzak was the mayor in RC!! 762-6267 spells ROBOCOP! Little easter eggs for the RC fan... all the guns in the ad are from the movie.....the building though not in the movie has been dubbed the Robocop building locally it's a uncompleted building in SP, Brazil. Awesome entries!!! Congrats to everyone!!!

I didn't think any of the winners were very good at all. NONE of them felt like the satire of RoboCop's world to me ... esp. given the use of real product names (PONTIAC) versus fake over-the-top ones (6000 SUX - NUKE 'EM). The winner's gag (BIG CAR EQUALS BIG PENIS!) is ripped off from an ad in the actual movie - as opposed to something original. Mine was going to be for a product called CEOICIDE.
The Product ...

... was to have been a service for CEOs of failed companies to painlessly euthanize you and also to take care of all the fallout following your death and make sure the money got into the hands of your descendents instead of those now-homeless former employees who would just waste it on food.
But I didn't enter ...

The winner really is the best here! It has a very authentic vintage magazine look. Plus its just funny and gets to the core of what most car ads are really about. Good work on all of these though.

Pretty much sums up why RC is a true sci-fi classic. I really hope my dude Aronofsky gets it right. Wouldn't that be something??? An alright (dare I even say pretty good) remake?
