This was the real Millar and Hitch story that I've been looking for. I honestly thought their revision of the FF was going to be a big wash until this story. It seems like they might actually cover some new ground here. I'm pretty stoked on it. Thanks for the sneak peak at part two!

has been a major disappointment. Him and Hitch just aren't a good fit for the title. Having said this, the preview looks fun. I bet it's some form of psychic attack.

He's a new character, but was previously featured in Morrison's Batman #666, a story that exists in the future, where Damien is Batman after Dick's been killed in the role. He gets crucified that issue, too. Good name, Spartacus. The Filth is awesome.

...had been pretty bland, I think, until the 2-part Christmas story grabbed my attention again. This new Doom tale (which featured a disemboweled Watcher in the first issue, continues the good work.

I realize the new movie was a hit and all, but are there really THAT man TREK comic geeks out there who were just demanding an adaptation 27 YEARS later? To complete their movie adaptation collection or something? I mean, I could understand if it's based on an unused screenplay version, where it serves as a peek at a sort of "what if" alternate version as opposed to the existing film. But other than that, I'm left scratching my head...

What music do you listen to when reading comics? I don't like anything too overt. Like I don't want to read SUPERMAN with WISH I COULD FLY by the Kinks playing. For some reason, I often put ARMAGEDDON TIME by the Clash on repeat. Of course, I do that even when I'm not reading comics...
