Then who the hell knows? Charlie's ghost? Charlie's body inhabited by Jacob's enemy? Projection of Charlie made by the smoke monster? The explosion changed the past and now Charlie's alive? Season 6 will take place in the past? The only thing consistent about Lost from season to season is that each season takes a turn that would be hard to predict from the season before, so we have no idea what the story's going to be and how Charlie (or Dominic Monaghan) will fit into it.

My current theories: Aaron is clearly the new host for Jacob, not Charlie. I still like the island being the Garden of Eden theory a lot. It'll turn out Christian wasn't the voice of Jacob but the other guy. Locke is not dead. Its not a guitar in the guitar case. Kate dies. Juilette is not dead and is in the series finale. Sawyer sacrifices himself. Finally..... Jack finds a way to go back in time and prevent the flight from ever reaching the island.

Okay, Elijah Wood is like a music mogul now or something, but Mike/Rudy/Samwise/sonofGomez hasn't done anything other than dying on 24, has he? And poor Billy Boyd, he's just been ignored all over, only appearing as an anonymous extra in Master and Commander. All this and yeah, I missed Charlie on LOST. Frankly, they've killed and killed and killed on LOST and it sucks. At least there it's not as stupid as the killing on Heroes, but still...!
