See, THAT is the kind of thing that AICN used to be known for. These days...eh. But that was a great read. Thanks for bringing some class and professionalism back to this site, ScoreKeeper!

I visit a website to read an article, I want to fucking read it. I don't want to click a link to hear parts of it in audio only. Clicking mp3 links is just as fucking annoying as those pain-in-the-ass video reviews for a fucking script from latinoreview
Ugh. The score in "Heroes" was bad...

Really bad. Over-use of Shankar/Shenkar made it feel corny (and I LOVE Shenkar... Peter Gabriel used him so perfectly in his music). In fact, the Shenkar vocal in "Heroes" made me dread the scenes with Mohinder even more... because the music tried to add false points-in-drama. Wendy and Lisa make bad scores. Sorry. "Heroes" score doesn't even come close to the power of "Galactica"'s score.
What an awesome interview!!!

Thanks, Scorekeeper! Wendy and Lisa are true talents who have found a great home with composing for film and television. Very insightful interview. I love how they are so open!

love Ron Moore's work. Big fan of both shows, but he did not create Carnivale. That was Daniel Knauf.

What's funny about it? McCreary has scored all four seasons of Galactica, Razor, the webisodes, the upcoming "Plan" movie, and now Caprica. Are you TRYING to suggest that Moore doesn't care for McCreary's work? FAIL. And can you tell me -- with a straight face -- that Wendy and Lisa's work is better than Bear's -- or any other tv show composer? You think "Heroes" score was a solid standout or enhanced the show? Or that it flavored the emotions and tone of the show? By the way -- the only thing I've like from Moore was BSG (I hated DS9 and lots of TNG). Nice try, though.

“Wendy?” “Yes, Lisa?” “Is the water warm enough?” “Yes, Lisa.” “Shall we begin?” “Yes, Lisa.”

you beat me to it you bastard...wf too... Well Prince was a bad mofo in his prime..now just a pale imitation of that for the most part, but age does that to most everyone...still can write some fun songs though occasionally...few are far between rather than most every cut on every album, but it's all good.
