It's actually pretty surprising. I always thought there was something else they had I watched, but its untrue. Maybe it was Eli Stone and they canceled that one. Oh well. Maybe Flash Forward will actually be worth watching.

Looking at that schedule the only two shows ABC have which are worth anything are Lost (which doesn't even have a start date yet) and Scrubs, which I'm reluctant to watch considering I thought the finale would have been a fitting end to the series. Oh well, there doesn't really to be any stand out series premiering on any of the networks this autumn/fall.

It certainly did seem like it. I've seen shows that've had an entire season to end it that had less satisfying finales than Scrubs' finale this year. As big a fan of Scrubs as I've been I was ready to see it go and thought that last episode said goodbye so well.

Expect to see that list of new shows on the canceled list 3 weeks after their debut. None of them have any zing to their descriptions. I love Ed O'Neill, but another head of household character is not what his career needs. And how the fuck did ABC get the stars' remains of Fox's "Back to You" to each have their own separate sitcom? (Mind you, I thought Back To You was funny, but Patricia Heaton is another actor who needs to stay away from the material that made her famous, in this case another family sitcom mom.) ABC, I can't say I'm surprised. Still, I assume you'll kick the shit out of NBC's abortion they call a fall sched.

I just read what happened at the Upfronts. Fucking hilarious. The jokes aren't THAT good, though there's a few worthy zingers in there. It was the fact that he said it to their faces. Legend. There may some equally funny comments in talkbacks once in a while, but I doubt any of us would have the brass balls to say that shit to our bosses.
