I live in Chicago and gotta say, "if ya ever get an invitation to a Goth party, GO!" I hate Goths(they take themselves too seriously, no sense of humor.) But man, they throw some wild and depraved parties. Drugs, sex, sluts and everything in between. I consider myself Punk, and a been there done that type, but even I was blushin at the shit that was goin on. Crazy.

I wanted to go to the Fango weekend but was unable, but I've already decided to be there next year. The tickets are only $25? Is that per day or for the whole weekend?

I took my kids to Burger King and this Goth was waiting for his Whopper Jr. or something and he had one yellow eye and one dark green eye (which I'm guessing were contacts, if not then...COOL!) and he had these metal claw things over his finger nails and he kind of wagged them in my oldest kid's face and I said, "Do that again and I'll teach you the real meaning of evil, Vlad!" He left without his food, which kind of made me feel bad, but not too bad because have you ever eaten at Burger King. The girl at the counter asked if we were taking the food to "our friend" but since it wasn't the Kid's Meal and we were only there for the toy, I said donate it to the next homeless guy who shambles in here. True story.

If you live in the Chicago area, skip Fangoria and head to the Flashback Weekend event in June/July. It is a much better event and well produced. I attended the Fangoria event on Saturday and I won't be returning. (I say that every year, and then I still go. Every. Year.) But seriously, check out flashbackweekend.com
