Dillahunt...

He’s a unique looking dude...not the typical cookie-cutter Hollywood actor that we are seeing these days. He's got the imposing build/height and the right fit for this character. We need more bad asses like him in film and TV. Kinda reminds me of a younger Michael Madsen...circa Reservoir Dogs/The Getaway.
He played Hearst's fucked up geologist on Deadwood.

He was great....nasty scene with him slitting the throats of prostitutes though. I loved his lines in No Country For Old Men: "It appears these two were managerial!". "Well hells bells! They even shot the dog!" "Well sheriff, that's very linear". Fuggin' awesome.
He's a great presence

on the screen. Him as Walcott in Deadwood, absolutely great performance. One minute he's a disturbing horrible person you wouldn't want to meet in an alley and then he's a coward who you feel sorry for. Glad to see him getting more parts!
Great actor

This is definitely a guy I'm starting to root for. Every time he pops up he just controls whatever scene he's in. I loved both of his roles in Deadwood, and even though the show was short-lived, I thought he had an interesting part in HBO's "John from Cincinnati." But I REALLY dig him as the Terminator. From his other films it was hard to tell, but he really has the height and physique to pull off that robotic look. I'm going to see Last House on the Left this weekend, and I'm sure he'll be great.
He was great as Walcott

But he was at least as good as lazy-eyed Jack. Still hard for me to understand that both of those characters were played by the same man.
Great in the first season of "LIFE"

...is what I learned of him from. Don't most people say Deadwood was canceled before it's time as well?

Anyway, he's a pretty good actor, shows up, disappears into a role, gets the job done, on to something else. Best of luck Garrett.

Don't stop watching Life! He was in the second season too, just as creepy, and looks to be shaping up to be the Big Bad behind everything.

And pretty much everything else I've seen him in. This guy should be way bigger than he is right now. IMDB says he's 44, which seems just crazy to me.

That show was flailing until he showed up. The only Terminator on the show to have a real, threatening presence. Having him really helped the show find it's stride, which is also why the show is floundering a bit now that he's relegated to a bitty part, so we spend half a season wondering if Sarah is crazy or not (though last weeks show was pretty good).

is the greatest show that has ever been created in the history of television. I've never been so invested in a set of characters ever and it hurt so much when it just ended. Dillahunt was BRILLIANT as both Jack McCall AND Francis Woolcott - can't wait to see him full psycho out horror movie style.

...thanks Capone for giving respect to one of my favorite actors of the last three years. What impresses me most about Dillahunt in this interview was that he actually asked questions in turn to Capone; this cat actually cares what the interviewer thinks! Wonderful view in to an intelligent and down-right nice man.
he's a great actor, and very good in LHOTL remake

I saw the remake at a screening on Monday night and rather enjoyed it. Good acting all around and didn't take the PC route at all like I was fearing. Vern's review is dead on.

He makes everything he's in that much better, even a little role such as the Russian mafia kingpin in "Life." I think he's only been on the show twice, and yet his character resonates throughout the whole series. He did that in "Deadwood" (in which he was superb) and even when he's playing non-psycho roles (as in "No Country for Old Men). In fact, he's such a handsome guy I don't know why he's continually playing psychos, although he does them well. He got terrific reviews in a stage version of "Night of the Iguana" a couple of years ago (he played the alcoholic priest) - wish I could have seen him in that.
