What is RR's next project?

Maybe I missed something, but what is Robert Rodriguez's next project, before Madman? The Faculty was great visually, but a little disappointing story-wise. I'm a big RR fan, and can't wait for his next film.

...remember me? I just got back from France. I caught Universal Soldier 2(which is already out there). uh... wasn't anything special, but I actually found it to be a fun b type movie. Madman sounds like it will be great since Rodriguez has done no wrong in my eyes(yes i even liked... loved The Faculty). Well I'm off to catch Eyes Wide Shut, then drive an hour to see Blair Witch Project. Talk to y'all later.

Well, he's listed as writing Predator 3, so that might be his next project. I haven't heard otherwise at the moment.
This is his next project--

Rodriguez next film is Spy Kids a flick he is writing too. It is about a pair of friends who play spies all the time but end up having to use their talents in a real life or death situation. Bob the Tomato out. Did anyone see Muppets From Space...I almost felll off my chair from laughter....

Robert Rodriguez is gearing up a "kid's action movie" presently that as described, sounds kind of like a Goonies/Explorers kind of thing only with a lot more weirdness. Filming commences next month I believe. The Predator 3 rumor is fanboy wishing.

Am I the only person on this rock that thinks Madman is the most overrated piece of poop this side of Howard The Duck? Allred is a talented cartoonist, I give him that, but the hype on Madman has always overshadowed what was between the covers. I feel so different than the others sometimes. Maybe Ma and Pa Kent DIDN'T have me by doing the naked pretzel, like they always said they did. Maybe they found me in a crashed rocket ship out in the north forty. Maybe that's why I can see the truth that others miss. (And maybe that's why I can look through Mary Beth Lindskog's dress and count her atoms) --Fred4Sure

The first few ishes were really solid, I have to say, but it's lost whatever focus it had. It went from willy-nilly to just plain silly. It's still as imaginatively vibrant as it ever was, but lost any sense of storytelling. I urge Mister Allred to heed the warnings of the fate of Mr. Lucas - don't get caught up in your own little world. Stick to story. Story, story story. Discipline, my friend.
Story? In Madman?

Generally, I'd agree that story comes foremost, but not in Madman. What I love in Madman is the characterizations: Joe's sweetness, Mott's humor, Dr. Flem's obsessiveness... and, of course, Frank's wonderful childlike nature and insecurities. Mike Allred has created some wonderful characters, and I'm happy to read about them just sitting around in the lab talking or playing Twister or whatever.

Wait, wait, wait, hold on harry, see the part of the story that i didn't like was that little timmy gave up looking for his dog after an hour. That little kids gotta think, you gotta dog than you have a responsibility, you don't just give up looking after an hour and sit on your porch like a goon, you get your ASS out there and YOU FIND THAT FUCKIN' DOG! That was all I had to say.

Just had to comment on Bob the Tomatoe's name, nice bob nice, though not every one can appreciate the moral and religous implications of that show, which i can, it is still great humor that appeals to both small and big kids, in the tradition of sesame street. Just wanted to say props to you and your wise choice of a fine name, GO Veggie Tales.

MADMAN is a great comic (as was RED ROCKET 7), but ASTROESQUE is pure shit! What a pile! This steaming pooplog kept Allred from working on MADMAN?!?

I don't want this forum to turn into another casting debate(X-Men) , but I think Brendan Fraiser would make a great Frank.
