And have no interest in the sound track. At all. DVD boxed set of the first and second season, maybe.

Recently saw an episode of House where Thomas Dekker played a faith-healing child prodigy with herpes. That was funny to see. I'm waiting for Summer Glau to show up on House as some psycho chick who thinks she's a robot from the future.
Sarah Connor Chronicles is the best genre show on TV right now.

I've been absolutely blown away by how good this show is - and when they first announced it, I was HIGHLY skeptical of it being worth even half a crap. But I gave it a shot. And lord, it seems like it keeps getting better all the time. Even the weakest episodes - like that weird thing with Cameron and the wheelchair guy hanging out at the library - are more interesting than most episodes of, say, "Fringe" or "Smallville." Hell, Joss Whedon recently admitted in the new interview over at Sci-Fi Wire that he's a devoted fan.

it's a great show...it's funny how the Sarah is completely hotter than any of the younger gals on the show...especially when she is beating people up.

Did it get better? Is it worth my bandwith downloading the episodes I missed? (For the record, I loved the first season. I just felt the second seemed to lose something somewhere.)

Would have been considered one of the best Outer Limits stories, from any generation. A beautiful killer robot from the future, disgruntled with her owners, befriends a handicapped history freak so that she can search dusty archives, looking for evidence of other killer robots? Alfred Bester would have been proud to have written it. Actually he did. It's called "Fondly Fahrenheit".
Scorekeeper looks like Buck Flower.

I'm not saying he's an alcoholic, but last time I saw him at BNAT with a wine bottle wrapped in a paper bag, he was holding his BNAT badge and said, "That's right, I'm the President. I knew when I got this thing I'd be the President."

...did you get far enough to see "Mr. Ferguson is Ill Today"? That's one of the best episodes they've done, so I recommend you at least go that far and see how you feel after watching that one. The last couple episodes have been pretty great too, honestly - "Earthlings Welcome Here" introduced another part of the Terminator mythology that I never expected to see on the show, and I'm loving that - but hey, I figure you start small, dip your toes back into season 2 and you'll probably be pleasantly surprised.

Still had a scene where a Chicago UNTOUCHABLE like dressed Terminator with 2 Tommy Guns ripped a 1928 car to shreds. Give me one Smallville episode as exciting as this shot. There's none. SCC RULES !

I just read 2 plot summaries for that story, and I don't see the connection.

I obviously haven't read the story, but can you explain why you think is so similar? The story you mention doesn't even have time travel in it, does it?

was the story of a very high-class robot who starts to deeply distrust his owner, and proceeds to develop his own separate existence, supposedly because there is something wrong in his hardware, which happens (at first) only because it's very hot. The owner loses everything he owns because the robot keeps screwing up and murdering people. Finally the robot decides to have a life of his own, and kills his owner. For my money, this is the direction the writers are going with Cameron/Summer's character. Definitely a nod to Bester.

I just can't understand how they fucked this up so badly. For example, it's really more about John Connor than it is Sarah. They should have placed this show in the period between T1 and T2, showing Sarah Connor training in the jungles and committing terrorist acts against technology companies. At least then it wouldn't have interfered with the old series or the new movie.

Yep, it's been off a time or two, but it's still ten times better than 99% of...say...HEROES Season 1-3. Continuity is out the window which is cool with me--multiple universes are possible with this much time travel. Some occasionally great writing and always solid acting.
