They could not even make the goddamn joke you are quoting in the headline of this article in THE EXPENDABLES because then it would be rated R for "language"! This movie is fucked. Sly should at least film it as an R so we can get a real unrated version on DVD as opposed to the usual pseudo-unrated piece of shit that's just the movie with some of the deleted scenes cut back in.

I fucking love Demolition Man. This is how I imagine a sequel. San Angeles is back to its old PC ways, Sly and Bullock are in retirement living in a house full of 20th century memorabilia having real sex. Then somebody clones Wesley Snipes and Sly and Bullock are the only ones up to the job and have to come out of retirement. Then Snipes gets into the cloning facility and makes a whole army of Wesleys. Hilarity ensues. It would be called "Demolition Man Too" because Sly and Bullock have a son in the police force played by Shia LeBouf. YOU KNOW YOU WANT THIS.

That film is shaping up to be what I thought for all these years what "Inglorious Bastards" would be. What "The Expendibles" needs though is more badassery on the squad. And not non-actors like Randy Couture. Sly needs to work his relationships and get some more big screen talent in there (Keith David, Kurt Russell, Carl Weathers, etc.). To use a Vern-ism, this film should simply be called: Unapologetically Violent Ass-Kicking Film With Lots of Hoary One-Liners That Still Work, Delivered By People With a Storied History of Being Able To Do These Things Well
