I never viewed her as one of those drop dead gorgeous Hollywood chicks, but she has this look to her that's somewhat cute and naive at the same time, yet on the flip side she's been through some shit. Glad she got this break.

And that's not a slight against the film or anyone else in it. As strong a film as TCCOBB is, in writing, performances, and cinematography, Taraji really shines. Shemade me smile every time she was on screen.

Because she is absolutely awesome in "Doubt" and Taraji P. Henson is, along with every single actor in "Benjamin Button," absolutely dreadful? Mark my words, folks. "Benjamin Button" will be a huge hit, and most people will love it. But it will not have legs. It will not stand the test of time. There isn't a single good performance in the entire film, except for MAAAAYBE Tilda Swinton, and even that's pushing it. There are so many problems with it that it boggles the mind to consider anyone revisiting the thing who doesn't have to as part of his or her job. It's a turkey, perfect for the holidays.
