Painfully boring.
Opening Dogfight is good
though and the first 20-30
minutes work okay but it's
easily 30 minutes too long and
very sparse on dialog.
The whole thing comes off very
forced.. I find in a lot of
anime the writer/director is
just ACHING to be profound and
the end up over (or under)
doing it. Shame since I'd say
the underlying story is rather
ripe for excellence... in
someone elses hands. ZZZzzz+
