Any bets on how low the ratings will be since everyone over the age of 13 will be out drinking (legally or not) that night? I swear, there are some serious dumbasses in the CW programming division.

Do the powers that are have a 'kick me' sign on all their backs or what? Name a Heroes-related message board, and there's cain-raising over Elle's demise and folks swearing up and down they're done with the show. A whole lotta people have Kristen Bell's back on this. I think most understand that her movie career is what she needs to build on. It's the WAY Elle was written out of the show that is pissing the fuck out of the remaining fans Heroes has left. Mike Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly confirms she's done with the show and he's pretty reliable with gossip and spoiler stuff.
God, These Shows Sound Awful

10 years ago, these show descriptions would be hailed as parodies of how awful broadcast TV can be. Except they really exist! The networks are actually going to show them! (And they don't realize they suck!) If we're going to talk about new shows, how about Elvis Costello's talk show on Sundance. That's actually good, and it's not about cops falling in love with each other.

I think you mean, is XIII based on the comic book? Cuz that's what the video game was based on.

the tv show and the comic/video game are unrelated. the video game is based on the comic, but only like the first 15 issues or something. The game ended on a cliffhanger and didn't do too well, so don't expect a sequel.

THAT's the shitty show they choose to identify him? Ratings and longevity be damned, the fact is he is best known for Firefly/Serenity, hands down.

Ray Wise is fuckin' awesome. I was really surprised to see him in the pilot of Burn Notice (a show I now love thanks to Target selling season 1 for a pittance of $15).

Besides, the premise of Reaper is cool.

No Reaper until MARCH?

I will never understand the stupid american scheduling system with all the breaks and splits. here in the UK you start a show, you show it every week (occasionally missing a week for some sport or something) until you run out of episodes, then you do the same thing next year.

Wow... sure looks like the network has tons of faith in that series. Jesus Rob, just jump ship already and go finish the outline for the Veronica Mars movie. Word is Kristen Bell isn't doing anything at the moment, but pretty girls don't stay disengaged for long so strike while the iron is hot dammit!

I think it was simply that this time, her father was dead, she lost her job, and the man she loved was killing her. She just gave up.

Pennsy is a little heartbroken himself, so I think he's overstating fandom's grief at Elle's departure. She was only ever a minor character.

Don't move it to kill it - slowly it's becoming a quite a quirky unique little show, with some great knowing clever lines and some thought-provoking IDEAS (not just pretty explosions which tends to be par for the course for most sci-fi). It also has a wicked line in black humour and I'd be sad to see it go.

That said with Daisies gone, what the hell does my opinion count. Again networks may as well say unless the show you become interested in becomes a mainstream super hit, which in turn will dumb down the writing, don't bother becoming attached to it as we'll axe it without any kinda closure so...just don't watch anything.

Poor Nathan Fillion.

I don't see this new show of his catching on. But, that's okay, it frees him up to work with Whedon again when FOX kills his new show and he grows a brain and decides never to work for that fucking network again.

Sounds like it might be something special what with McShane, Baker and the always awesome Eamonn Walker. The idea while not original is still quite a gamble for network TV but it's got me quite excited.

When was the last time the primetime schedule for Fox's Saturday night lineup was different? Or were "Cops" and "AMW" the first shows on that night?

Good to see that some things in life never change.
