I'm stopping DVRing the show now. Or two weeks ago, to be precise. The show is cancelled, correct? And they cancelled it in the middle of a two-parter with no hope of the second part actually being filmed, correct? There's no reason to go on with this show then. If I'm driving a car and I see a bridge collapse ahead of me, why would I keep driving? In the hopes that Jeebus will build the bridge up in the span of a few seconds? No. I'm stopping this car and walking home. This season of television has been dissapointing in a way that hasn't been matched in years. The only new show that's remotely watchable is Fringe and there is no returning show that hasn't been either cancelled (pushing daisies) or that hasn't let me down (heroes). I'm going to pet the tv to bed for a while. Wake me up when Lost starts.
I thought this show was cancelled, already.

I don't understand the appeal
by OB1KNBI

of this show, but I can appreciate the loyal following for it. I just wish I "get" said appeal. I watched the first 4 episodes of season 1, and had to call it quits. It seemed way to quirky for it's own good, and I just couldn't watch it anymore.
Here's an idea.

How about all you dicks who 'don't see the appeal' of this show stay the fuck outta the talkbacks? It's bad enough that the fans have to deal with its cancellation without having to hear all the needless attention-grabbing from all you shitheels.
ABC, please helpe me.

Why don't you keep the whole season archived for streaming on your website? Only the most recent two episodes are on there. I fell a few behind, and now I can't catch up. It's extremely frustrating.

so I guess you probably dump a girl if you don't think you can score with her. I'm sorry but that attitude is ridiculous. There are more reasons to watch a show than just plot and story arc. Sure, I want to know what happens in the end, but this show provides me with pure joy just in the self-contained episodes that I'm watching it to the bitter end. Then getting the comic book if I have to. Or seeing the movie. I hope Fuller makes a huge Pushing Daisies/ Wonderfalls/ Dead Like Me film with great effects.

Bad analogy, man. For me, it's more like breaking up with a girl after you overhear her say "I'm gonna dump him." Why stick around? Sure, you might have one or two more nights of sex, but is it worth it? You know she's going to dump your ass, so you might as well leave now. There's no point to stick around anymore. As for a movie? After the financial success that was the last X-files movie and Serenity, if you think that any movie studio on the planet is going to pay for a movie based on a canceled show (or 3!) with a small cult following, you're nuts.
OBSD, I think your analogy is worse

I wish it was a true crossover and had Jaye in it. I mean, seriously, is Caroline Dhavernas doing anything? She could even comment on how she knows a guy who looks like Ned. Heck, she could mistake Ned for him. (sigh)

But it's not the first part of a two-parter. That information is mistaken.

Yes, the show is now canceled, but it's still airing its remaining glorious episodes. If you don't want the pleasure of watching such a good show, no matter what happens after, is entirely up to you, but please let us have our fun. It's a great show no matter what.

My other favourite line: "Did the colonel spatter when you deep-fat fried him you sick son of a bitch?"

Just to be nit-picky, that Youtube song above is Hazy Shade of Winter. The one in the show was Eternal Flame http://www.youtube.com/watch?v =Sxf6Xd75yUo

Looks like once again Herc's anus is Fuller Bryan's vienna sausage. Herc is so all over Bryan Fuller that it's becoming downright embarrassing for him. Is Fuller talented? Yes. Does he deserve continuous adoration and idolatry in a public forum? No. Herc, this is your article, and you can write what the fuck you want, but once you become predictable, e.g. Anything with Bryan Fuller = Herc Teste Rupture, then you're just a mindless tool with nothing to bring to the table. I will avoid all Wonderfalls and Pushing Daisies talkbacks from here on out because of your continuous gushing and self-humiliation. Enjoy the bland banter about everything Fuller in my appreciated absence, my wayward sheep.

Someone brings you the greatest pizza you've ever eaten. You love it. but now there are only four slices left and you know when you eat them they'll be gone and you'll be left wanting more. So you toss what's left and walk away rather than tease your tastebuds.

That's exactly what not watching Pushing Daisies because it's going to end would be like. And it would be a waste of something good not to indulge in those final delicious slices or those last marvelous episodes.

It's a shame we won't get to see Olive's amazing cleavage anymor

Maybe it's because I know it will be gone soon, but the show is really picking up. Olive singing Eternal Flame was so good. I feel like I can't convey how much this show makes me fucking smile because I get so depressed afterwards. UGH. Let's hope a movie to tie up some loose ends. PLEASE.

Petrie seems as if he's back to form (that is, his Buffy glory days). Actually, I love the Olive-centric episodes, especially the ones in which they allow Chenoweth to sing. I have an enormous girlcrush on KC - have been listening to her Christmas CD nonstop. Sigh. I'm really going to miss this show. When it's on, it's ON.

I read somewhere that there are two more to air in December, which would leave three in the can. We'd better be able to see them without getting the DVDs, even if they sneak them on somewhere.

The tongs, and Ned's expression when the Colonel tasted himself were priceless.

the variety show Kristin Chenoweth is the only person I can think of that might be able to pull it off.

Just make sure that her "girls" are prominently featured each week and get some decent writers for some sketches. Have her sing a couple of tunes and find the right time slot.It may just work.

Her musical number with Digby last season was one of my favorite parts of the show. I'd welcome the peck of cahoots from her any day. Stephen Root dying was a little too convenient however. Still my favorite show on TV however. For a little while longer anyway.
