As for the experience issue, why was it only coming up to such a degree in this election? Say what you want about Wellstone, but he was a good man. With that said, let's get back to Bruce Lee. Wonderful video. Don't care if it's 3 weeks old, it was good of Harry to post it here. Given what a health nut he was, I wonder if Bruce Lee would have tried MMA. Not talking about today at 68, but maybe 15 years ago when he was in his mid-1950s. But I just have to say, leave it to a conservative to think that modifying your position on a subject is WRONG! In the military we do this kind of thing all the time: it's called "using your brain." Now that the Iraqi parliament passed their new security agreement, all U.S. forces must be out by 2011. Wow, it appears Iraq can take care of itself. But maybe you're right ... maybe we should remain an occupying force in a country that no longer wants us. History has proven that to be a fantastic course of action! Tell ya what, how about you leave the politics to the big boys and you keep listening to Rush and Bill tell you how many ways you're life will be ruined over the next four years.

what is happening with the UFC and all MMA leagues is what Bruce dreamed of. a style with no style, but all styles. through trial and error an ultimate fighting style, born in a cage, using what is practical and throwing away what is useless. no doubt, had Bruce lived longer he would have incorporated Brazilian Jujitsu and more Muay Thia into his Jeet Kune Do system. i bet if he were alive today he would have competed in the first couple of UFC's. i bet at age 54, 55.. he would have beaten any guy in the early days of the sport, because he was the first true mixed martial artist. he would have found a way to win. he would be 68 right now, and i dont think he would have fought more than a few times.. due to his age... i think that his lack of size against very large opponents would do him in, in the long run. in his prime, at that time in the 70's. nobody on earth could touch him. if he was 30, in his prime today, he would be an undefeated lightweight fighter (155 lbs)with his devastating stariking, speed, stamina, cardio, and the fact that he would have mastered jujitsu already... man. untouchable. im pretty sure his street self defense system would look more like Keysi fighting method, and his in the cage approach would look very much like a Anderson Silva and George st. Pierre combination... only faster. Bruce=GOD

would have been an Oscar winner or at least a contender by now. he was nowhere near his father's level as a martial artist, but he was a hell of an actor. i am sure he would be an A-list actor by now. he was an actor who could do martial arts, his father was a martial artist who could act... like himself. such a shame they're both gone.

The fact that you've been spouting that stuff means that YOU have absolutely no idea what you're talking about regarding his positions. He's kept Robert Gates to maintain continuity for at least about A YEAR. Sure, I'm becoming personally worried myself about Barack Obama seemingly reneging on the purity of his former views, and shifting to the center right of YOUR politics without merit. But let us all ' wait and see ', shall we ? ' Coz it's practically worthless speculating on his moves, when you've got nothing, instead of carefully posited points on his site which are contrary to what you're saying. When Iraq invaded Kuwait in response to perceived threat, America, and the U.N. for the matter, saw this as unwarranted breach of sovereignity against a member state, enough to justify military action against it. Yet when AMERICA invades Iraq for flimsier, and since discredited pretenses, the U.N. ( and the rest of the world ) more or less backs off, packs their bags and leave, throws their head to the ground, and save for few sporadic protests, and cold stares, deems it as an ' American matter ', and never quite speaks of this again. Iraq of course, was a 'member state ' at the time, whose sovereignity is recognized by U.N. and the rest of the planet. Which would be like, I dunno, invading America, or something. Now, that same country of George W. Bush, and that apparently glad handing ' historic president ', just drove the rest of the world into recession with horseshit corporate socialism, vis a vis unregulated free markets , due to the financial system being hinged on THEIR currency ( which, I dunno with any of you libertarian fellas, but DEMANDS RESPONSIBILITY. No ' everybody else leaves everyone alone here '. Since ' everyone ' has just been made to depend on you ) Point of the matter is, where are the sanctions against the United States ? ' Ya dig ?

Holy shit! I hadn't thought about that game in years! Loved that game! And it was hard as shit! I can barely remember any of the content but I can remember being frustrated with that one level where you had to time the jumps with the moving platforms or something! That, Conan and Necromancer where some of my favorites along with the usual Preppie!, Preppie 2, etc, etc (and, of course, the Infocom games...Zork, etc)...ahh..the smell of ancient geek....
