is to not look at page filled with this much crap for another year. Here's a neat story by the guy who designed those Wild Things dolls back in the day: http://www.geocities.com/ugote mel/toys/a_wild.htm Guy hasn't seen a cent from it.

I remember getting that for Christmas back when they released it. I didn't know it was even out but somehow my folks spotted it. It's... enjoyable in an inexplicable "how did this happen?" sort of way. Just silly. Last year I did funky Christmas mix cds and, I must admit, I did include What Can You Get A Wookie For Christmas. Not sure anyone should spend big money on it though. 10 bucks or less? Maybe.

Not quite. But itt looks an awful lot like the piece Giger designed for the never-made Jodorowsky version of Dune. Very slick.

And that watch is the fucking BOMB. Seriously, that thing rules.

the H.R. Giger furniture. If i was super rich i'd have my entire dinning room lined with his art and have the furniture all made by him. I love those chairs and all his stuff. My wife would hate it but I wouldn't care and I'd be rich and tell her to shut up, but only if i was rich which i'm not so instead i just apologize to her alot.

It is truly amazing. Hands down, the best Harrison Ford likeness of any collectible I've seen. It's like having a mini Indy in your house. Also have the Bank Robber Joker, and that is probably the best 12 inch figure available.

I commissioned a painting from him (on his website, the Kill Bill painting)... and I have NOTHING but GREAT things to say about him. He's a consummate professional, keeping me updated throughout the entire process. And believe me, 300 bucks was a steal for the finished product I got. I can't recommend him enough!

Seeing as how Kane was the only crewmember of the Nostromo to actually see the eggs, and the nameplate says "Kane." I know that's assholish to point out, but I've only seen Alien something like 50 times. Sorry!

But I have to say that it sucks that both Zbrush and the Monstermakers Mask kit was snubbed.

Theres all this observation and admire movie geek stuff. What about tools that can teach those who want to learn to be a part of the buisness. It took a certain episode of Discovery Channels Movie Magic, with an in depth howto feature on minatures flying broom stick witches created by Rick Lazzarini's FX team for the film "Hocus Pocus" to set me on my path. I had seen many episode of Movie Magic before, but this episode went indepth with the info steps and terminolgy. Words like roma clay, plaster mold, liquid latex slush casting, acrilic eyes. Enough info for me to hunt the stuff down. Enough visual aid for me to study. The FX bug but me and it changed the course of my life forever.

Both Zbrush and the Monster Makers Mask kit are good tools for FX enthusiast.

That Freddy statue from Gentle Giant was sculpted in Zbrush and then RP'd into the real world. Theres a few images of that Zbrush sculpt on the pixologic.com forum showcasing the many steps involved to realize it as a collectable statue.

pics from Nobel collection are images from the film and not of the actual product.

www.therpf.com are unsure debating on the fact that the items might not come from the film molds. Won't know until they arrive on doorsteps around december 11th I think. It really sucks when companies show products off like that, It's the worst form of misdirection a company can do. If those mask don't come from the film molds. I can see a lot of poeple who thought otherwise getting pissed off over the innacuracy.
