That's where I got my copy of Man With The Screaming Brain. Loved it! So weird. The "making of" featurette is hilarious. I like how that production is becoming a running joke in My Name is Bruce. "Hey, I made a movie in Bulgaria. After that, I can handle anything." I would definitely like "The Adventures of Bruce" to become a franchise. Imagine if Campbell teamed up with Lee Demarbre to create a "Bruce vs. Harry Knuckles" B-Movie blockbuster!!! Whoa. I just blew my own mind.

Old Spice commercials. They HAD to be conceived with Bruce in mind. Love this Q & A bit taken from EW. He asks the audience to play studio exec as he pitched one of his past projects. ''I'm Frank Marshall,'' he began. ''I've produced all of Steven Spielberg's movies. Interested? Okay, I've got a book written by Michael Crichton. I'm going to get John Patrick Shanley, the Academy Award-winning writer of Moonstruck, to adapt it. It'll be shot by Allen Daviau, who did E.T. Will you make this movie? Well, congratulations! You just made Congo.''

Imagine my initial delight in reading that he was in Baltimore, aka 15 minutes away. Suddenly the realization that this interview was not done today brings me down. But wait! DC is only 30 minutes away. Plenty of time for me if the interview was done yesterday. But no. I click the link and find out BC was in DC back on the 15th. Dreams dashed, and I spend 20 minutes sobbing in the fetal position while crying Bruce's name. Damn you!

when i was drunk... however, BC is a dick and wouldn't even sign autographs... I'm surprised he even let Capone talk to him... he shuns Evil Dead 4 talk, and has memorized his response for Spiderman 4... fucking waste of 6 bucks... but the movie was a good B movie... what a dick though

more season of Brisco County Jr. It came out the same year as X-Files, Fox felt it had to pick one show only and Brisco went away. Sure we got Campbell on Xena and in films, but Brisco was hands-down the best TV western since the Wild Wild West, decades earlier. Great cast chemistry, clever-bizarre story arcs (The Orb/Bly and all that) and more. Oh well. Look forward to seein' this new movie and continuing to enjoy him in Burn Notice.

Good Bruce story. I saw Congo at the cinema back then, a crazy, crazy head-scratching movie experience for sure. The ape with the little girl voice was to be heard for days after that from my throat, which gave me and my fellow colleague and movie buddy some much wanted comical work-stress relief though, so thank you Frank Marshall haha.

Once at a book signing, once at a restaurant in Denver waiting to be seated - I know, Bruce has to wait??? Forgive them Father, they know not what they do. We spent about 20 minutes eating free bread and shooting the shit. A genuinely funny guy, I have nothing but good wishes toward him and all his projects.

I stood in line at a book signing for 3 hours. Tobey Maguire got in line behind me, and just took cuts. kirsten Dunst was there also. They took their cuts-Spederman 1 was very good... All the wannabes had shown and just bought crappy brand new dvd releases of Evil dead from the tower records next door... But I bided my time. After 3 and a half hours I unleashed *my* memorabilia-*an original, full sized Evil Dead 2 video store movie Poster* Bruce actually dropped everything and told all the poseurs, "Get all this crap offa the table-here's something *good*" Crowning achievement of my life-and I still have it!!! My precious!!! Buy Bruce's stuff/watch his movie-he's a great guy in person! -MLB

but the trailer for this movie was just NOT FUNNY - I was appalled. C'mon, this is the Chosen One! Oh well, I'll just have to wait for it to come out on dvd anyway, since I doubt this will get a widespread release (if even released at all) in Oz.

...if I ever meet BC (unlikely, as I'm a UK'er and he don't seem to bless our land with his presence much) that'd be my greeting. Love the commentary on the Evil Dead 2 DVD where he tells the Kurt Russell story. All hail Bruce - by the way, did he only ever do 2 of those Old Spice ads?

Just caught the flick here in Mpls last night, with Bruce there for the post show Q&A. Funny flick (if you're there as a fan and the whole poking fun at itself sort of thing) Place was sold out for both BC showings. What a naturally funny dude, it'd be great to kick back and tip a few with him.
