{snagged from the Lipstick NBC thread} I mean, it's always terrible, but last night I caught 5 minutes of it by accident. This girl has her boyfriend slam his mustang into the van she, her mob boss father (I guess b/c she called him "daddy") and the token black Knight Rider FBI agent chick were in, and she comes out unscathed. And this happens in a downtown intersection street in full public view. So she hops out of the van and instead of getting away, she hugs her boyfriend "We did it!" and kisses him and hugs him like they're a retarded version of Bonnie and Clyde. Which they are. I changed the channel. These writers should never be allowed near a keyboard again. They should be forced to work telemarketing for the rest of their lives. The only things worth watching on NBC are The Office and 30 Rock, and Keith Olbermann on MSNBC.

Knight Rider has no audience and is terrible but is being discussed for a second season while shows like Journeyman are cancelled is astounding. Pushing Daisies is a more fantastic show in every way and it looks like it'll be capped at 13 episodes this season. I wish I worked at a studio just so I could have someone explain to me exactly what the hell they are thinking about when they do things like this.

is because of the popularity of the old Knight Rider they are willing to even think about doing this...but when they had a truly innovative show like Journeyman which was actually coming up with some intriguing storylines, it doesn't get a second chance. This is why I have really come to HATE the networks. They don't take chances anymore...they want to recycle everything just like Hollywood does with their movies.

When they started off the season, they "killed" off his identity and he formally adopted the name "Michael Knight" after mentioning that his father had used that name before and that his father's original name was Michael Long (which it was). That was the smartest thing they've done so far with the reboot prior to the next reboot. I would love to see The Hoff running the show as head of Knight Industries/Knight Research. And yes, I thought he was a good Nick Fury too...too bad that tv flick/backdoor pilot was so low-budget.

That is how bad it is. I do not understand how NBC can cancel "My Own Worst Enemey" but keep the worst show on TV, Knight Rider, on the air. And there's not one mention of Clone Wars past the first episode. I'm sorry, but Clone Wars is pretty damn good, and the last episode kicked ass. My imagination never thought a fight between R2-D2 and another astromech droid would be so cool. I feel sorry for people who are so jaded that they can't enjoy Clone Wars as a fun weekly adventure series. Coaxial keeps talking about Knight Rider- A show NOBODY LIKES and even NBC stars make fun of (Leno and Conan have both ragged on it) and still we can't get a talkback for one of the only decent adventure serials on television? Pfeh. I bet if Joss Whedon went on record saying he liked Clone Wars, it would be covered here twice daily. If Whedon actually wrote an episode, we'd have to wade through a Hercgasm to get to the details. Look. There's no Doctor Who or BSG or LOST right now. There's no Venture Bros. There's no Torchwood. There's nothing Star Trek on television. There's very little in the sci-fi, adventure, action genre available outside of Terminator and Heroes. Is this not a geek site? Where's the love for Star Wars?
