possible spoiler below, but prob not.... I found myself looking for the lynching scar that is said to be around his neck in the script. But I guess its just as the script mentions, something like, "it will never be spoken of." That kind of shit is why Tarantino is a master, the worlds within his films are so thouroughly thought out. I was watching some interview w him recently where he explained that. For instance, in the Kill Bill universe, it is blasphemous and deadly for a Hanzo sword to ever be taken out of its sheath and returned without tasting blood. So when California Mountain Snake took Budd's Hanzo sword out to gawk at it, Boom, she winds up fucked up and eyeless. I would love to hear of the thousands of little details that populate each of his film universes. This film has the potential to be incredible... But, it is strange how Pitt/The Basterds are not really the stars as many may think...

The story behind the spelling is that it was spelled that way on the script and spelled that way in the press release announcing the start of shooting. So it's the official spelling. I'm guessing it has something to do with the MPAA or legal rights to the correctly spelled title.

Unfrozen for a few years with a history of working for the government (where his "age" would make sense), casting Pitt as Captain America could be pure magic. He's gotta want it, though (muscles and all.) And he'd have to prove himself as the leader the character requires. (Note: There's a few other casting suggestions that I've been okay with, as well.)

That's exactly what i don't want to see. Tarantino + Crime Genre = Pure Gold. Kill Bill isn't really holding up too well for me compared to his previous films before that, and to be honest i just flat-out didn't like Death Proof, although it was well made.

He's uber-famous because WE made him that way, but he's still just a human being like the rest of us. Anyway, really looking forward to this one.
