I remember some kind of spy/secret agent show from around '79-'81 that had a dude with a claw or mechanical hand. I think there was also a secret base ala Get Smart that was hidden behind a wall with a sliding panel door or something. I can't remember the name of this show because it obviously didn't last long and I was a little kid anyway. Any help? Is it on dvd?

plus it's been about a year in between this and last release.. so doesn't it make sense to put season 2 on dvd?

Although this "volume 1" bullshit is ridiculous.

Loved it as a kid, thought about getting the set, but I've been so let down by nostalgia. Nothing is ever as cool as it is in memory. Also, shouldn't the "Swingtown" box say "the first (and only) season?"

Hey! He's the biggest cunt here on AICN, and that's official! Always shouts 'First!', never types anything else, and doesn't write anything further down on the Talkback. By the way, I didn't even realise that the Sarah Silverman Show even had a second season! I rather enjoyed the first, so will seek this out in the near future.

I am_NOTREAL is correct, this is purely for tv shows coming out on DVD. Are you not regulars to the site or something? Coaxial isn't for movies. If you want a 'Dark Knight release date' mention, then head over to Harry's latest 'Picks & Peeks' column in the Top Stories section. That is all.

Sorry about this: Could somebody decipher this tremendous pile of information for me. I tried and my ADD won out. I just want to know the what for on BSG. It said something in the headline thingy, but too many TV shows that just don't hold my interest must have overloaded my simple brain. Sorry for being an imbecile.

Don't fret. I have been mystified plenty of times about the lack of correctness in a lot of these columns.

What kind of backwards browser are you using that doesn't have a 'search' or 'find' function for finding things on a page? Or are *you* the backwards browser? Who didn't think to try ;^)

Again, I feel old. What makes this show funny? She just goes around saying things she thinks are "edgy", but are really just kind of childish and have no point.
Of course, Seinfeld didn't have a point, either, and I didn't like that show, either.

I got a pre-release review copy, and all twelve discs are stacked on top of each other like in one of the recordable CD/DVD stacks, with a cheap, cardboard thing you stick on the top to prevent them from falling out! Great series, great price, LOUSY packaging.

..in Burton's Planet Of The Apes, that is, i.e some weird chimp/human hybrid with black hair all over her forearms and a unibrow that cries out to plucked on an hourly basis. I can seriously envision her flinging her own poop in an argument.

Yeah, it'll cost more buying the seasons individually, but if you're the kind of person who will watch these episodes frequently (as I do...best damn sitcom of the 90's, Seinfeld be damned), the discs will get scratched to SHIT the way they're packaged in that complete series set. In fact, ALL of the complete series sets Sony is releasing on the 28th (Good Times, ect.) are packaged the same. Plus, there's nothing extra added to the big set, just the EXACT same discs from the season sets. Skip it...

Ha Ha You so funny. Your lame-o attempt at humor says more about your shortcomings than Sarah Silverman's. If flinging poop is the thing that comes to mind when you look at her then I suggest you do all of the female species a favor and become celibate or at least gay.
