Wat i don't understand is that he still appears in the opening credits of later seasons (in the extended cast shot) and in the much earlier super-best friends episode. If they were gonna be censors, at least they might be fucking consistent about it.

Mohammad censorship

I think it is a MUCH funnier joke, if you tell yourself that the censor was intentional. Here's a full 2-EPISODE story about censoring Mohammad - and when the pay-off comes, it's CENSORED! I laughed my ass off when that happened.

you think the wire should be bigger than it is?

do you mean in viewership or in scope, because i don't see how the wire could get any bigger. As for Brotherhood, i found the last five or six episodes of season one to be top notch and i'm excited to pick this up today.

is absolutely brilliant. Much like Herc says, if you liked The Wire, Breaking Bad, Mad Men etc then you'll love this.

Anyone know if the discs have proper holders or are just those terrible cardboard sleeves that most series sets insist on using?

The individual volume sets are in the cardboard, I don't know how they're handling this new "complete series" set.

Scott Tenorman Must Die is possibly my favorite South Park. Although I would replace 'Eek, a Penis' with 'Cat Orgy' and 'Super Fun Time' with 'The Passion of the Jew.'

Because of all this damn election stuff, when I saw 'Palin' in the heading I was thinking Sarah, not Michael. I was hoping that Naylin' Paylin had been seriously fast-tracked.
Wow, 'Blossom' is finally on DVD!

I predict that only 4 people will actually spend money on that (and they were all in the cast). Is it just me or is it really creepy that a show for kids is called "The Naked Brothers Band"? I still don't understand why CBS decided to cancel "Moonlight". It was doing well enough in the ratings and was paired well w/ "Ghost Whisperer". I mean, what else are they going to put on after "Ghost Whisperer" on Friday nights that will actually do well? Their new show is already tanking.

Yes, it does get better, and I thought the exact same thing. The first few episodes are the weakest of the series. I really started to love it around episode 10 or 11 of season one and then it kicks it into an even higher gear in season two.

I fucking HATE it that most of those things stick the discs in those awful cardboard sleeves. I got the complete X-Files set a few months back for a pittance, but still felt ripped-off when I cracked that bad boy open and discovered that the discs were in cardboard sleeves. Grrrr.....

After Cartman became the Cartman he was now, he wasn't featured nearly as prominently. Now, half the season tends to be "Cartman episodes". It'd be interesting to see if things were any different had such a "change" not taken place.

Is anyone else bothered that all the season sets from last season that was cut short by the writers strike are still as expensive as a complete season would be, 30 rock, chuck etc all like $40 for a shortened season
