This season is shaping up to be one of the best. Last few seasons below par for the show IMHO.

If it was Mackey 24/7, the show wouldn't be nearly as good. It's these escapes to other parts of The Barn that helps the show make such an impression.

Vic takes the fall for all the strike teams' crimes to redeem himself thus clearing Ronnie and Shane. Ronnie and Shane help Vic escape to Mexico. All three meet one last time with Shane giving Vic an envelope full of cash and telling he if he comes back they will kill him. Vic says "Shane you wouldn't kill me after all I've done for you." Shane says "your right, I wouldn't". Cut to Ronnie, "But I would". Fade out.

Are you kidding? BTW, I disagree with you Satiago. I think season 6 was absolutely amazing. The way they finally, after 4 years, payed off the Aceveda rape. Awesome. This season is pretty weak so far. But you can sense that it's building up to something huge.

I doubt Ronnie would ever team up with Shane of all people. Shane has proven time and time again that he's a fuck up. It only be a matter of time before Shane would do it again if given the chance.

I will miss this show so much. I would trade so many other shows including LOST for just for one more season of The Shield. Vic is a dynamic character that is either going to get what is coming to him or be greatly rewarded in the end!!!

Will never side with Shane, he is a fuck up and Ronnie knows it. Ronnie will stick by Vic until the risk becomes too great and then he'll do whatever he has to to protect his own skin. I imagine that going into these final few episodes, it'll be Vic vs. Shane and Ronnie will be doing whatever he can to get clear of this mess. Also, Santiago couldn't be more wrong. Season 5 was one of the best seasons of television ever, and Season 6 was pretty excellent as well.

Is pretty weak this season but when I saw the few glimpses of what will happen later this season I got that old stomach butterfly feeling again. I'm rewatching the whole series so when we get to the final episode I've watched all 90+ hours. The only season I ever remember being kinda blah was 3, after that it went back to being amazing...I think Vic will just turn himself in...either that or have a Godfather 3 ending of him dying (maybe after being shot) on a chair, alone. I just hope Shane gets slaughtered Denzel in Training Day massive machine gun bullets style. I just wish they did more to wrap up the other characters lives and not just the strike team...like what is Dutch gonna do? So far he's just solvin cases...what about Danny? She cant just be right hand to CCH and have that be it. Idk...I think they need just ONE more season..please..please...pleaa asseeee

Ronnie & Shane will both be dead, possibly Vic's daughter too. Vic goes on as a cop in the clear, but he does it with no family & no friends, living with all he's done.

Shane has too watch his back on two fronts. That rapist's daughter looks more like she's Shane's kid than her father. The naked guy plot _was_ kinda weak; you'd think they'd give the guy more than a towel to wear after holding him all day. I was half expecting Hanlon to something typically stupid and shoot the guy during the opening sequence.

Aceveda knows that Vic likes the ladies. What better way to finally get Vic then to dangle a hot, morally compromised, federal agent in front of him? Remember: Vic's only basis for believing her story is Aceveda's claim that she was in the box, a claim not made until the box was hidden. In fact, I'd be surprised if Justice doesn't already have the box and this whole thing is just a way to finally get Vic once and for all for Terry's murder.

I'd say it's been anything but. There is a lot going on and the story continues to get more and more complicated as all the variables, including Shane, Tavion and Vic's own family, continue to spin out of control. I still have absolutely no idea how this whole thing is going to end but if Vic dies I hope Ronnie makes it out unscathed. Shane needs to die badly and Mara along with him.
