... is a hoot. If Cruise stars in its american remake, he might get his long awaited Oscar. Or whoever plays that part. 7:35 in the morning was an amazing short film and I still don't fully understand why it lost the Oscar. And still, there's one spanish director even better and with more imagination than Vigalondo... Javier Fesser. Both are the big great hope of spanish cinema, even more than Amenabar.

Ong Bak and Warrior King were mindblowing not just because of the incredible Tony Jaa, but how the action was filmed. Can't wait to see Chocolate.

I don't know why we don't get wide releases of this stuff here. I've seen it several times and it gets better and better.

It seems like it was just me, but I thought this movie was a mess.

You've got far too much melodrama and bad story to introduce the action and when it comes it's like a bad video game. All the action shots were shot one move at a time and pieced together, there's no kinetic energy in here. And while I don't expect the girl to be like Tony Jaa, I found there was no physicality to what she was doing, only acrobatics. I was really disappointed.
