This movie does not sound interesting at all and may be derived from an episode of the Simpsons from 10 years ago...

HBO's Real Sex

If this is anything like those crazy fucking couples' retreats they used to show on Real Sex it could be hilarious. Of course, it would be damn hard to top the sheer fascination and ridiculousness of the real thing, but it could serve as an interesting blueprint.

And by the way... You ever notice on that show that there was always one couple that was hotter than two rats fucking in a wool sock and the rest of them were people you absolutely did not want to see naked? The good looking couple was probably a plant to keep people from changing the channel.

Not that groups of adults jumping around in a nude trancelike state flinging mud at each other or shitting on each other and speaking in tongues wasn't semi-intesting in its own right.

That had Vaughn and Favreau in it, but it wasn't written or directed by Favreau which kinda puts it in different company than Swingers or Made, no?

p.s. Made was good. Not as great as Swingers, for sure, but definitely funny.

If there's one thing I bet Peter Billingsley never tires of...

...it's hearing the phrase "who played Ralphie in 'A Christmas Story'" after his name, over and over and over again. Kudos, Herc.
I also bet Peter B tires of people telling him

Is one of my top fives. The way Vaughn's character is trying so hard to be every mob movie stereotype is genius. It's actually a very good crime movie where the comedy is more tragic than comedic. In the end, they're "Made" because they get out and do the right thing. Drama aside, Favs and Vaughn are just effing great. Very under-rated flick.
Give it a floor run, see if it plays.

Swingers wasn't directed by Favreau, though. He wrote the script. Then, wrote and directed Made. Vaughn had alot of creative control on The Break Up, which I think was somewhat underrated. Suprisingly, Aniston was the weak part of the movie. Although she's extremely hot and any opportunity to see her walking around naked is welcome, I just don't think she's all that funny. And her constant nagging in the movie was unbearable. But, of course, that was the point. I know the movie did pretty well but alot of people told me they were expecting a more straight forward comedy. My thought always was, "Look at the name of the movie, dude." It was pretty accurate and honest in its portrayel of the demise of a relationship, punctuated by that brilliant scene between Favs and Vaughn at the end...
Made is a gem. (great soundtrack too.)

now that he's rolling in all that Iron Man money. People could say anything they wanted and call me anything they wanted if I made that kind of loot.
Billingsley seems well-adjusted for a child actor

At least he didn't do pornos like Flick. So he's probably cool with it.

I agree.I avoided that movie for a while thinking it was maybe nothing special...perhaps I heard something...but I was really impressed with it.

The way the tension was racheted up while still being funny was great. Vaughns character was maddening...I kept waiting for Favs to take him out. The outakes were a prize too.
