He is the best thing in the suprisingly good ABC Family show Greek. He and James Marsden are the reason I really want to see this movie.

Riding the coat-tails of others success. What's interesting and has been previously noted about Apatow movies is that he casts people who are exactly like their characters. In real life, Michael Cera, according to someone I know who's interacted with him a few times, is apparently exactly like he is in the movies - somewhat awkward, but generally funny I guess if you calm hid down. Having seen Clark Duke in Clark and Michael's, I've seen him as more of a douche. Apparently, that's not too far off...

It really is very funny. And if you're coming to the Thursday screening in LA, we may have yet another special guest joining us, so make sure you've sent in an RSVP if you're coming. I haven't put the list together, so you may still make it.

When the site opened just now there were all these old articles on the front page, e.g. on Antz, Godzilla, Deep Impact, an old one one Avatar.. But when I clicked on one of the articles and then returned to the main page, they were all gone and all the new articles were back! That was some seriously weird shit...

... feel their penises crawling back inside their bodies whenever Harry talks about sexuality? Eeeeeghghhhh. As for the movie- hate the title, and the poster, but the trailer was surprisingly funny. Wasn't planning on seeing it, but I'll definitely give it a look now.

If I get in I'll have to skip class, great directors of cinema from 7 to 10 or clark duke in something called Sex drive from 7 to 10. I think it's obvious what's the better choice.

Also this idea is about as stale as it could get. Young dorky dude trying to get laid, oh yeah and the poster has him standing there in a giant pastry suit. Let's hear it for hollywood folks, they are really knocking it out of the park these days. I may have a look at the trailer if I just happen to be on youtube and I think about it, but nothing I've seen so far concerning this little gem has me interested.

You're wrong. It's *perfect*. A lot of movies give away all the best jokes in the trailers and when you see them, they completely suck, because you know already what's going to happen. Most of the funny stuff from the trailers happens here in the first five minutes of the movie, and it's just the tip of the iceberg. Harry compared this to Ferris Beuller, and that's a great start. Sex Drive is comparable to some of the best parts of hits like Porky's, There's Something About Mary, Animal House... The timing was excellent, with a few deeper, more meaningful moments followed up with outrageously funny surprises to keep it from getting too deep. The entire audience enjoyed it, and Clark Duke was as funny in person as on screen. A comedy this good comes along maybe once every five years to a decade.

I was also at the screening and had a blast. I wouldn't go so far as to call it original, if anyone did, but it's certainly successful. The characters are more likable than the American Pie gang, Marsden is the kind of dickhead you laugh with despite knowing he's a dickhead, and Seth Green's role is every bit as great as Harry wrote. I actually didn't notice if Harry mentioned Andy and Randy (I think that were their character names), who just about steal the show as a pair of obnoxious and conceded sex machine losers. They're so awesome at being not awesome that they come off as incredibly awesome. Don't ask me what that means.

seriously. is harry dating clark deuce or something? i mean, why do harry's reviews always sound like he's about to go down on some dude? geekgasms over highly dubious material. the trailers for this movie aren't funny. the red band stuff is corny. and, the mexican donut thing isn't compelling. i honestly think harry has lost his edge...

I kind of expected it. This movie hasn't connected with the world that hasn't seen it yet. The trailers don't really connect at all. The movie will, if you see it, but there's no talent involved that prior to this film would give anyone a reason to be excited. BUT - so far - MORIARTY, MR. BEAKS and I all love the thing - Summit really needs to screen this movie all over the place to get buzz going, because this was the first screening I've done in Austin, in a really long time, that didn't fill the theater. That just shows a general lack of interest, that frankly is unfortunate. This is really really good.

There isn't a wealth of anything coming from Kevin Smith other than shit and diabetes. How UNCREATIVE is making his porno in Zack and Queeri "Star Whores". Get it? Smith likes Star Wars! Who would have thought? EVERYBODY..that's who!

...I am going to take your word on this. But as a rule I generally hate movies like this (or that look like this from the trailer anyway). But I'm going to give it a chance. If this is another Superbad though, I will be spamming the shit out of you for eternity. Fair warning.

"SEX DRIVE is a film that I wasn’t particularly looking forward to. I didn’t really know who anybody in it was" what a sad statement coming from someone i maybe expected better from. Hollywood needs talented casting directors seeking out brand new talented actors for a much bigger turn over of new faces. When a movie gets nearly everything else right i love it when the actors are fresh faces because u only know them as those characters for now. They're then ruined when theyve followed up with the inevitable 3 shit films and u realise they were perfect for that part. Hollywood needs to shake up the status quo more often and give new actors a chance. If only it wasnt a business.

I think it's a little early to anoint Zack Duke as the next Dudley Moore, I found his character lacking weight and pretty unconvincing actually. I was expecting him to supply comic relief and he didn't deliver that, instead he was a cardboard Don Juan that was in need of sorely-lacking witty dialogue to sell the guy as a popular dude. The movie overall was pretty 'ocre, far from the Apatow groups films, closer in kin to Dude Where's My Car. Harold and Kumar are much more believable and likeable as characters than anybody in this movie.
