I hit print screen on that glamopur still at the half way mark, opened photoshop, opened new page, and pasted it in. It felt wrong to click "flatten image" but what really confused me was if I should save it to my "celeb" folder or just file it with "clothed porn".

I want to see a movie where Sarah Palin, Tina Fey and Script Girl play sisters.

The Burroughs stuff was funny, though. And the spaghetti strap is a step forward in ogling potential.

I hope she's not too offended, but the faster she gets into a bikini the sooner I'll subscribe (and then she can buy me that sandwich from Farmer's Market).

So a once-per-week talkback with a link to video of an attractive woman sharing script sales news items with some humor--how is that not completely in-character with AICN's fundamental charter?

Hater's who claim she just reads Variety items are missing the point entirely. And haters who claim this is an embarrassment to AICN: are you freakin kidding me? Have you actually READ the typical talkback here?

The most offensive embarrassing thing about this talkback are the juvenile and hate-filled comments--that is a reflection the the talkbackers, not AICN or ScriptGirl.

I am damn sure not going to subscribe to Variety, and I don't have time to read it if I did. ScriptGirl can read me the highlights in her quirky, attractive way any ol' time.

Seriously, don't even TRY to defend what this girl is doing since it's so fucking transparent. And certainly DON'T put on the Cary Grant "I'm a gentleman" white knight armor and then point an accusing finger at other guys here regarding their comments. If this woman was SO interested in journalistic integrity (in terms of passing along a story) then (1) why not BE a reporter and actually go out and GET the news instead of just compiling information that I can already find on most legitimate screenwriting sites... (2) If she's SO into scripts, then why not interview the people who did make sales, like an actual news reporter would... and (3) given how many weeks her titillating (yeah, I said it!) videos have been here and given the kinds of comments they generate, if she was ACTUALLY interested in reporting the news, than why not dress a bit more refined? And less like she just came off her shift at HOOTERS?

So screw it. Joke away. As SuburbanJedi noted this girl WANTS the attention and WANTS to be ogled. So fuck it -- when you're simply after attention on the web, than you have to take everything that comes with it...

She is so mind bogglingly bad as a 'host' of the show..she can hardly read the 'cue cards' she's got.

The fact that no AICN PTB's post on here, defend her, explain WHY she's on here..or even comment about our complete dislike for this woman just goes to prove that she is clearly either; A) Paying AICN to post this or B) Is REALLY pulling favors for someone and this is what she gets out of it.

Either way, these videos make the site, Knowles & company, and the whole net-movie community look bad, dirty, and a little bit sad.

And for the record I've never said anything mean like she's dumb as a brick. I never said any such thing, John Chance. Heck, I'd be the first to admit that what she's done is a great marketing strategy. She wanted to call attention to herself and she found 2 big ways to do it. But all in all, your post still shows that Suburban Jedi was right in his post (which I then echoed). She clearly WANTS to be some sort a new online cult figure, so she dresses in a particular way to play up her boobs -- and she does it on purpose. Which would certainly indicate (as Suburban Jedi stated) that she WANTS to ogled. So sure, it's a smart tactical move. And I realize it's all part of the act. But don't even try and tell me she's letting her gazongas hang out so prominently to advance the world of news or the art of screenwriting.

You also mention that she works 60 hours a week. What are you her boyfriend to know that? A close friend hers who feels a need to defend her from an onslaught of so many Talkbackers making fun of her? Oh wait, let me guess. Somewhere along the way...perhaps at her site...she put her hand to her head, she let out a heavy sigh, and then SHE said how hard she works, at which point you bought into it on face value. Well, I'll be a nice guy. I'll be fair. Maybe she is a hard working, industrious person who puts in 60 hours a week. Then again, what does that matter? I'm sure everyone here can talk about the long hours they work each week including all the overtime they put in as well. In short, what does her working 60 hours a week have to do with everyone joking about her boobs? Hmm, well now that you mention it...

...I could argue that her working 60 hours a week only helps to prove my point even more. Let me get this straight: she works that long and hard all week long, so what does she choose to do in her free time? Does she go out with friends? Does she hang out with her boyfriend? As a production assistant is she off writing her own script or using her free time to make her own small movie? No. Instead she's videotaping herself and posting herself online, all the while making SURE she's dressed in a way that will make her boobs incredibly prominent.

So, gee, I think we've come full circle to the whole debate of "Do you think she's trying to pass along news or is she REALLY just trying to call attention to herself? Whether it's to land a job in TV or to try & make herself into the next online cult figure which in turn could generate money and fame for her?"

Me, I'm guessing it's the latter and based on EVERY Talkback we've had so far about ScriptGirl and her videos, I think it's safe to say a lot of people have come to the same conclusion...

For crying out loud, if you read the interview OF COURSE she speaks nicely about her herself or her aspirations. It's an interview where -- once again -- she's clearly trying to promote herself. Of course, she also gets a bit full of herself with some Hollywood name dropping ("Let me tell you about the party I was at where Quentin Tarantino came up to ME to strike up a conversation because he watches ME online") or by talking about how famous she thinks she's becoming ("Let me tell you about the time I was recognized at a truck stop").

But as I said before, that's fine. I have no problems with that. As I said in my post, she's trying to work it and she's found 2 great marketing assets to help her along -- her boobs. Which everyone here knows as well, which is why they're snickering and making snarky comments because it's so fucking OBVIOUS what ScriptGirl is trying to do.

And if you can't see this, then for fuck's sake check out the YPR interview again and just LOOK at the photos they put up of her. Gee, John T Chance, do you NOTICE anything that's CLEARLY played up in every single shot from her videos? And take a good look at the caricature they drew of her to accompany her bio. Gee, NOTICE anything that gets played up yet again? For crying out loud, the LEAD IN of the article says it all (quote): "Facing the camera is SCRIPTGIRL. 29 years old, vaguely exotic, both bookish and sexy (i.e., glasses + cleavage)"

So get it right, John. I have no gripes with her doing her reports and trying to call attention to herself. Just don't try and play innocent that she's not playing up her can-cans in order to GET more attention. Which means, yes, she WANTS to be ogled online which was all I stated before. So I'm STILL right in everything I said. And I'm being fair.

Now, that I think about it, do you know what's really funny? Your screenname used to be mine a few years ago. I think I made one or two posts under it before I changed my account settings.

I'd comment on the actual content of her video, but you and I and Script Girl herself all know that the content could be the last 13 pages of the Beverly Hills phone book, and that its so very much NOT about the content. We can stop pretending now. If Harry burned this website down today and replaced it tomorrow with "Knitting Knews With Knowles" then we all know that next week we'd have a YarnGirl gland-popping video about the latest goings on at Fabric Barn.
