That's the real hard-hitting question.

Jamie's Bell's a Geordie, la lahhh la lahhh la! Okay, so he's actually from Billingham (most likely making him a Smog Monster) but until we have some Ridley Scott news on here, Jamie Bell is as close to a Geordie as we'll get...

opened in the UK last year. It's ok. Why the name change though? Mister Foe sounds crap.
Hackles is no friend of mine

But Heckles is one helluva guy who makes fun of up-and-coming actors that may not be a household name yet their body of work is still well known. And Heckles promises to be an expert on the greatest actor on this talkback today, Jamie Bell, from now on. JB4LIFE! Or not. And 'Jumper' looks totally gaylord.

He made hayden Christensen look like a porn actor in Jumper

Every time they were on the screen together I thought "Jesus Christ this movie would be in the realm of watchable if that guy were the lead instead." Christensen was a joke and Bell was never anything less than utterly alive and interesting. And it's not just because one was the straight man, you could have replaced Christensen with a block of wood halfway through and I wouldnt have been the wiser.
He flees to Edinburgh, not Glasgow

Glasgow's a dug's cunt of a place and doesn't look pretty through a lens of any description - that's why it looks so good in Red Road, which IMO is a far better film than Hallam Foe or whatever the Americans have chosen to rebrand it as..
Hallam foe was set in Edinburgh. NOT GLASGOW!!

Thank you. Many Glaswegians take it has an insult to be compared to Edinburgh.

... I don't think they have rooftops in Glasgow yet anyhoo for Mister Foe to tit about on, bashing his wee boaby.
Aye, Glasgow is full of cunts...

But so is Edinburgh, just that Edinburgh is full of foreign cunts too, but is much smaller with less people and richer history. Hallam Foe is actually a really well shot film, I liked it quite a bit. So aye, NOT GLASGOW, Jesus. It's like The Rock all over again, where they have Connery as SCOTTISH but born in GLASGOW... although technically it is the character. Still, would have been nice to hear EDINBURGH in a Michael Bay film, hahahaha.

Kristen Stewart asks that of Jamie Bell at the beginning of David Gordon Green's 'Undertow'. I liked that line the moment I heard it as it was so unexpected. Since Jamie said he had input on DGG's script, I now wonder if he helped write that line or was it all David Gordon Green's.

Hallam Foe

I can't believe this is only starting in the U.S. now. Even in Germany, it was in theaters already over a year ago. Also, the change of the title does not make any sense at all. While this is in some ways a story of initiation, it is quite clear that Hallam Foe is a teenage boy and not a grown man. I bet the title was only changed, because American audiences wouldn't know what "Hallam" would mean and that they would be driven away from what might be a foreign movie. Either that or they feared it would be too British. Anyway... if they had to change the title they should have come up with something that would actually make sense. BTW, I am wondering what "Mister Foe" would look like in the animated title sequence. They would probably have to change that completely.
Jesus Chrsit is America only getting this now?!

It was out SOOOOOOOOOOOO friggin long along I had borderline forgotten about it. Good show though-well worth a look (made my top ten of 2007). Although change the name back to Hallam Foe, cos Mr. Foe sounds crap-plus the guy in it is so child and immature like no one would ever call him for a Mr....or maybe thats the point? Sounds crap anyway. I mean are they scared people wont know what Hallam Foe means and wont see it based on that? I mean Americans arent complete dopes...I mean that cant be the same reason you all call it House M.D instead of just House, presumably cos the distributors thought House sounded to much like a weird DIY programme-do these people not have faith in peoples intelligence to look into what tings rather than just jumping to conclusions from a name? I dunno-I mean they didnt have to put Batman in the title of The Dark Knight and thats doing alright for itself
