really have some amazing scores on their CV's, i'd forgotten how much good stuff - The Rock, The Thin Red Line and Gladiator for Zimmer, Wyatt Earp, Waterworld, The Fugitive for Howard.
Is this worldwide?

Just wondering if this is for US residents only, or if Britishers like me can also enter?

Not much point in me entering. Now if it was a complete recording rather than cherry-picked "songs", that would be a different story.

So good luck to those who enter.

International?

Sure. Go for it. I may regret this later but for now I'm the agent of chaos so let's see.

Never stop waiting. It may be a while but one has to think eventually it will. It'll probably get released as a limited edition title down the road. Keep up hope, just don't count on the studio releasing it.
Pretty good

Definitely better than Batman Begins, or any of Elfman's Batman, to be honest. The Batman theme, the love/Rachel theme, and the Joker theme all do exactly what they need to do, and I can't stop listening.
I enjoyed the TDK score...

...but when is Nolan going to have the balls to insist that the studio allow him to hire David Julyan as he has on all his other films?

Backdraft and Crimson Tide are Zimmer's best, IMO. Add Gladiator to round it out to three... Honestly, Crimson Tide was one of the few soundtracks since Star Wars/Indy that I listened to over and over.
And for Howard, Fugitive

...it'd be great to hear any information on this. Why is it that some movies don't bother releasing a score soundtrack, when in all consideration the score is already done, packaged within the movie, and all it needs is to be edited and transferred onto a CD. In other words the product is already made, it was already figured in with the movie and its budget, so it's not like the studio has to pay to produce a whole new album of stuff. All it would take is some quick transfer onto a CD. Perfect example is that above-mentioned Spiderman 3 score. Another example is the score for Silent Hill. It just seems so easy to get these scores out. Anyways if you have any info on why some studios don't bother doing this it'd be great to hear. Keep up with the great AICN articles ScoreKeeper.

I could still enter just for the sake of "winning" it plus it would be from America (I'm a Brit). Only thing is I would be probably lying if my favourite scores were the same as Scorekeeper. I love all of Howard scores for Shyamalan movies (except Happening, havent seen or bought that cd yet). My favourite would be Sixth Sense, though Signs is the most radical. Zimmer, for me it has to be The Rock hands down although Gladiator is admittedly the more accomplished. But what a great collaboration mix for the Dark Knight, though I didnt really care much for their Batman Begins probably because it lacked any punctuating themes. OK, I'll enter this compo!
