Fringe, Dollhouse, and Life on Mars will bomb while Knight Rider will limp along with decent enough ratings to carry on.

As mediocre as I think this show will likely prove to be, I think, just like the last tv movie, it'll still draw a big enough audience to stick around for a while. I mean lets face it, the majority of tv audiences these days seem to prefer their shows to be pre-packaged, non demanding, paint by numbers product that requires nothing more of it's audience than to turn on and tune out, so in that fashion Knight Rider will likely do quite well for itself, crap or not. As for "The Hoff", fucker would show up to the opening of a can of coke if there was a cheque in it for him...

M-O-O-N. That spells Trans-Am.

Hey TOM CULLEN, what's with all the M-O-O-N posts??

Dont pick on Tom Cullen, he's got a touch of the "retard"

For a little light reading this summer pick up Stephen Kings "The Stand".

Aside from being a great book, it will also answer your questions about the whole M-O-O-N thingie.

If lasting 8 episodes is a requirement for Hoff's return

Shouldn't the title of this story be "Hoff will not be appearing in the new Knight Rider series"? The backdoor pilot was God awful. I expect the new series to DOA. Unlike the Bionic Woman series last year which started out strong and faded fast, I expect this remake to fade fast because the backdoor pilot scared off anyone with even an ounce of taste.

You can also watch the Stand miniseries that seems to be replayed every week on the Sci-Fi channel. It is usually on in between episodes of Stargate spinoffs.

Hasselhoff is on Anaconda Three!!! Premiering this saturday on The Sci-Fi channel.

If its half as bad ass as the first two then it'll be a whole bunch of bad ass.

If we all don't watch it, does that mean he won't return?

Because i was already planning on not watching it, but i'd make doubly sure not to watch it just in order to prevent Hasselhoff's small screen return.

Hopefully this is a condition, not a threat, and we can head this shit off at the pass. Quick, tell everyone you know not to watch it.

But then hearing about it for the first time might get them curious. It's a dilemma.?

Was NOT making the original Michael Knight the 'big bad' behind the plot to kidnap the new KITT. That would get people (at least me) want to watch if they knew the Hoff was out to kill the 'new' Michael Knight...

The pilot was the worst thing I watched this year. I had a lot of fun though thanks to the now legendary talk backs that ripped the movie as it played out. The only way to bring me back to the show is if they revisit the Montecito every episode and find Stallone's "Frank the Repairman".
Hey come on, this could be GREAT.

Ok, hear me out. Since it's pretty well established that this will be a commercial with some nano threadlike plot on which the scenes of CARS DRIVING VERY FAST will be hung...

The show "knight rider" could be cut down to it's bare essentials. Giving it a run time of half hour over the course of an hour..Ok, hear me out. Since it's pretty well established that this will be a commercial with some skimpy string like plot on which the scenes of CARS DRIVING VERY FAST will be hung...

What was previously the Advertising breaks could be replaced with a show. you know, something with a plot., and erm, actors, characters and dialogue and something that doesn't exist with the sole intention to sell you shit you don't need. Something that serves to enlighten the viewer as to the nature of the human condition... like stories and art are meant to.

If the shows are going to become advertising.. it seems only fair if you are going to take peoples time up with them, that the adverts should be replaced by shows.

sorry about the numerous typos,
