Tori Amos is one of the weirdest, most awesome talents out there and the fact this is being handled this way is no surprise. The tree in Gaiman's Stardust is supposed to be her as is Delerium's red headed phase in Brief Lives. Neil shows up in her songs so often he's his own running theme. The artists and writers who worked on this all inspired by her work create new work which inspires her to make more work. That's fucking beautiful.

I get giddy like a schoolgirl when I think of Tori and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Saw her in London at her book-signing. She's just the sweetest person ever. So glad that she and Neil Gaiman know and draw inspiration from each other. I'll be keeping an eye out for this one.
