Obviously, geeks are only a very small small part of the movie going audience (see Snakes on a Plane box office) and therefore they bickering about Shia falls on deaf ears at studios, the main public loves him and the reason why he keeps making big movies, and why those big movies keep making money is (in part) due to the audience responding positively to him. I don't have any problem with him, I think he's got a lot of charisma and energy, no nothing Oscar worthy down the pipe yet, or probably ever, but who cares.

I still think that geeks are just mad because he got to be in both Transformers and Indiana Jones and most geeks here probably had their first wet dream about doing that, therefore, they hold a life long grudge now. That and he bones hot chicks and they don't.
