For whatever reason, I'd imagined Roth as a stuffy kinda dude. Quint's interview kills this. He seems like a down-to-earth, alright guy.

Just back from the Alamo and this HULK is the lovable beast I know. This is the HULK I grew up reading. This HULK will SMASH puny competition this weekend. Go see it and believe it. Thank you Norton, Tyler, Hurt, Roth and Leterrier XXXOOO

I liked Ang Lee's from a technical perspective. i thought it was a thoughtful, very well put together piece of work. But not the Hulk I personally wanted to see. I have, and still have alot of respect for it. But Letterier's effort just kicks ass - plain and simple. As a piece of entertainment its really good.

that the producers, director and "key players" would berate Norton publicly on the opening day of their film. That's retarded!! Especially if they are planning a franchise, which is usually the m.o. for these things. Just because someone doesn't show up, doesn't automatically make them a doucebag. Give the guy a break, he helped give you a decent Hulk movie. I really hate the Norton bashing.

clearly, you did not actually red this, and you don't understand the genius that is Kraken.

if you had read this, you would have noted that Quint does not usually take photos, Kraken does. it's MENTIONED IN THE INTERVIEW.

and not for nothing, but most cameras made after 1970 have the ability to ZOOM IN...thus making the picture appear closer.

who are you anyway? how has someone this stupidly silly evaded my talkback radar?

Tough stuff about incest and the like... but beautifully handled, and packs a hell of a punch. Roth directed it. Smart guy. Don't know if just any actor can/should director his or her stunt double, but Roth can/should. He could probably direct most of the movies he's in better than their official directors.

...another scene from the trailer that I didn't see in the movie was when some guy tells Banner to "see a shrink". The movie was alright for me overall - it served its purpose and set out and did what it intended to. There was a bit too much CGI at the end for my liking. Watching two cartoons battle each other while things explode in the background isn't my cup of tea.

...back in 1986 at the Sheffield Leadmill. He was MCing for Big Audio Dynamite and i ended up spending most of the evening backstage with Tim emptying 'The Chiefs Of Relief's drink's cabinet. He was a fecking fine fella (perhaps because i'd seen everything he'd done up to then and was an especially big fan of 'Meantime' and 'Made In Britain') and looks to have lost none of his sense of humour despite having to endure the L.A. bullshit regime. p.s. If you get to read this Tim... 'I'm yer guide fer the ride - SightseeMC' lol. And can you remember me getting into a fight with Paul Cook about my belief that The Clash were better than the Pistols. Good times mate.

More On The CYF-Johnnie To-Tim Roth Project
by Harry Weinstein
Jun 15th, 2008
11:01:59 AM
I don't think this is the same one that Alain Delon is signed up for, but rather a remake of a Delon film, LE CERCLE ROUGE. Also with Orlando Bloom and perhaps Liam Neeson, though I'm guessing that Roth may be stepping in for Neeson at this point... or else he'd have surely mentioned him when he mentioned Chow. Johnnie To with $40 million Studio Canal dollars to play with - certainly worth keeping an eye on this project if you run a movie news website, I'd think.

I've had to read TallBoy awkwardly standing up for the prequels in every single story where there's a mention of them... It's getting really old...

You know my opinion on the prequels... why does it constantly surprise you when it comes up in conversation? You do know what site you're on right? If it bugs you, I understand. There are movies people hate that I love and have to hear people talk bad about all the time, but you know what? I either ignore it or I avoid those people who feel strongly about it. It's pretty easy to do, actually.
