The movies can fix that in a way the final episodes cannot.

But they will likely opt to continue showing wrestling, so holding of breath is ill-advised.

And you neglected to mention the Greek and Roman mythologies which are just as blatant. (Apollo, Athena, Jupiter.... c'mon yourself, those are not Judaism, Christian, Islamic).

Yea, no backup really needed--semisaj was not really after you or anything, and I was in a weird mood. You got called out a leeeeetle bit, is all. Semisaj seems alright to me, so hope no offense was taken, as none was intended. It was sposed to be a humorous call-out of the calling-out....

Let's have some good BSG talkbacking--and some good BSG MOVIES.

Did you ever think that all this may not be about religion at all, but about man and machine both trying to be god-like and having major adverse implications on the BSG universe?.

For example, it is possible that the Lords of Kobol were something other than what their mythic status portrays them to be. Think about it. If the tragedy at Kobol never happened and Kobol was never abandoned, the near destruction of the human race would have never occurred. Unlike Mt. Olympus in our universe, in the BSG universe Kobol is "real" and it would be interesting to see a movie that gives some explanation to it, even if TPTB keep some of the mystery around it (which they should IMHO).

Just a thought.
