I thought CONTROL ran the country. Remember Bushie doing his soft shoe in front of the reporters in the Rose Garden garden recently? That was his attempt to disable his shoe phone so he wouldn't have to take on any more secret missions and go after Mr. Big and KAOS.

But the important thing is that Americans no longer care about the Republican party's goals. They realize that those goals are at odds with the goals of the citizenry.

I've no doubt there will be people who will vote against Obama, or perhaps not vote at all, because of his race. But they will be a miniscule portion of our society. The majority of America have more senses about them, finally.

And when I'm assassinated taking the oath of office all the TBers can look back on my presidency and say, "Wasn't that a great 30 seconds? For once the entire country was united in their hate for that cocksucker."

Apparently a lot of Conservatives are doing the same, judging from the changing face of Congress.

If McCain were an Independent, I'd consider him. But his alignment with this disgraceful, corrupt party, and his intimate ties with lobbyists make him no better than Bush. I wish him no ill will. Just don't want him as President. This country has had enough.

Assuming you're right (and that rings true), you're saying that Blacks hold their political beliefs in higher regard than color. Because if race is the prime criteria for the black vote, they'd vote overwhelmingly for Obama if he were Republican. But somehow I find that highly doubtful.

If your philosiphies are correct they should stand up to debate.

I don't know if there are any great films along the lines of TWBB later this year, but that one came out of the blue for me last year. I'm sure we'll get some modern classics come Oscar submission time.
