a little strange, no?

there was more intelligence and humour in 5 minutes of Veronica Mars than 5 years of 90210. does the CW not want people to think of this?

The idea of a 90210 reinvention makes me want to beat CW executives with a bag of oranges, but I am obligated to watch anything Rob Thomas touches after the brilliance of VM. Bah! If anyone can make this pile o' crap idea acceptable, it's him. Also, glad to see Reaper back. It got so much better after it came back after the strike. Love the overarching story, it clearly needed something like that from the start.

I started watching from the beginning of season 2. This show reminds me so much of Buffy and the writing and acting of the two main characters is great and often funny. I just can't understand why more people don't tune in.

left the 90210 project. Now he'll just be running Cupid and Outrageous Fortune (or "Good Behavior" as I think its called now). Thank God. The less association he has with The CW (and 90210), the better.

Reaper is the only thing that keeps me from deleting the channel from my tv. After watching Smallville died a horribly slow agonizing death, releasing its bowels and flopping around in it... I give up. Without Mack & Rosenbaum, who the fuck cares? Stride, that's who. Fucking Stride.

Thanks! I'm much less torn now. Both Cupid and Outrageous Fortune (Good Behaviour?) are projects I can get excited about. Especially if the rumour I heard about Kristen Bell joining the latter is true and not just designed to make me twitterpated.

dont having anything to replace it. not that that is a bad thing. CW dont have a clue with regard to original programming. Once smallville is gone they are PHUCKED. And the 90210 sequel is a desparate cry for help. Really, do the CW executives think that kids are going to buy that shit again when they are are a post Columbine generation? Nah, wont work. CW's best new hope are Supernatural and Reaper in no particular order. And they need new ideas quick. Or the sack the guy who green light the 90210 sequel. CW give me a job in the development department!!

The problem with the network is that its ratings are equivalent to that of cable networks (not the premium channels, but ones like SciFi, Spike, TNT, FX and so on). But that doesn't cut it for a national broadcast network, where there is a lot more overhead involved (maintaining broadcast stations, air rights, ad rate packages, and so forth). I will say it here and now: It would not surprise me if The CW goes off the air after next season. I'm not predicting that it will, but this would not surprise me.
I'll only watch Reaper.

Needs to leave this abortion of a network. I never thought I'd watch until I heard Kristen Bell would be narrating. Thankfully I did as the show is a good spin on a teen drama that makes crap like the OC look foolish. Its like a high budgeted Degrassi with good actors. Showing kids fucking around, freely drinking and smoking weed and last week a kid snorting a line and OD'ing.

It's gonna be a lonnnnnnng wait until midseason for REAPER, but it's better than being axed. Of course, if the CW truly had their shit together, they'd dust off the GLOBAL FREQUENCY pilot and develop that as a replacement series.

I took a pass on it when it first came on. For one, The Office was on at the same time, and for two, it just looked like another generic buffy knockoff with dudes instead of sarah michelle gellar. But then I gave it a chance and I'm hooked now. I got the first two seasons off of Amazon and it's really a very good show. I don't see how they're going to wrap up the plot of this season with just the one more episode tommorow, but the writer's strike fucked up a lot of shit. I highly reccomend checking this show out.

Gotta disagree with you there. We have a new Whedon project, a new show from Moore of BSG awesomeness, and 2 Rob Thomas shows. What more could a geek ask for? To me, it looks like this upcoming season will spank the pants off of last season, the only new show of which I really got into was Pushing Daisies. Bring on next year! And Mr. Profit, I hate to break it to you, but Gossip Girl is the OC in New York. Not that it may not be a guilty pleasure, but lets get some perspective. Degrassi deals with actual problems of everyday life; Gossip Girl deals with the problems of rich, spoiled assholes. Kids fucking around, drinking, smoking weed and ODing? Yeah, I saw all of those episodes of the OC.

Since Dollhouse and the two RT projects are slated for midseason, ergo January 2009. So far, we'll be lucky to get 12 new shows from all 5 networks, and a quarter of those reality shit. 2 shows from ABC?? There's nothing new that will make me watch this fall. So far. Maybe Fox will have Virtuality on its fall lineup, or will that be relegated to midseason, too?

Tyra Banks is shallow

And what's sad is that she has NO IDEA. She thinks she's this deep, intelligent person who thinks things that have never been thought before, when really she's like a 12-year-old who just found out there are other people in the world and they have unique experiences that are completely different from hers.

I love me some African American beauty, but Tyra Banks has a lot of ugliness underneath that makes her less than attractive in the grand scheme of things.

I think GTA IV had it right: AMERICA'S TOP HOOKER on CNT (or was that Weazel?)
