I would say that he's one of the few actors these days who can truly command the screen. Even in total crap the guy is intensely watchable. He has a talent for being able to do the fucking best work... and actually ACT.... and also star in the biggest turds being made, and still gain total respect. Has anyone EVER turned Sam J down for a role?.... Ever?

The only way he could ever top Shaft (as a character) is if he was Winston Zedmore in a reimagining of Ghostbusters.

what sucks is that this picture of Samuel L Jackson, and the marketing stuff they have up in NYC, makes it look like they are just making a Sin City retread and it additionally makes me think the movie will suck just like that one did. why Frank Miller feels the need to lend Hollywood his talents and not comics readers like ours truly is a mystery to me.
