Oh and how the hell got According To Jim 8 seasons? I mean, it's not really bad (Yes, it's definitely the most unoriginal and cliched sitcom out there, but at least it's entertaining, if you just watch it every few weeks, when nothing better is on), but 8 seasons? Come on!

One Fall Sitcom

Only one sitcom on ABC in the Fall? (One that sounds lame at that). Looks like the sitcom is becoming increasingly moribund. At least the Goode Family sounds, well, good. But when did an animated sitcom last succeed on network TV other than Fox?

It wasn't a great show. I don't think I even saw every episode, but it was better than a lot of comedies on tv and Judy Greer is so great. She deserves a good show and this was the best one she got so far.
Colm Meaney as Gene Hunt in Mars

Funny! He and Philip Glenister who plays Gene Hunt in the "real" Life on Mars could be brothers. Having said that Glenister was fucking brilliant in the roll. I know that Colm can play a decent badass but he'll have to work like a little bitch to match Glenister.

Colm Meaney?
by Lloytron
May 13th, 2008

I'm not knocking the guy, I think he's great, but I don't see how he fits in. LoM paid homage to the old 70s UK cop shows, such as The Sweeney, Z Cars etc, so I expected the remake to be the American equivalent... I don't see how Colm fits into that scenario.

Still, to be honest I was expecting a lot worse!

I'm sure this is going to be terrible! Once they tame down the language and themes so they don't "offend" anyone, this show will be a festering sack of shit that will have no resemblance to the brilliant show that will share it's name.

She wins me over everytime. She's like Molly Shannon in a way. Everytime she appears on screen I'm in for a treat. Oh,...Ashton Kuther produced it? That explains "Taterhead" Willis showin' up. What other than being a celebu-spawn is she known for? She has no acting credentials I can speak of but they...keep...taking...photos of...the...damn thing!

"Sons and Daughters." That was a pretty cool show as well, even though ABC gave it that stupid "The dialogue on Sons and Daughters is partially improvised" disclaimer.

Too bad the hilarious Fred Goss was reduced from creator/producer/writer/showru nner of "Sons and Daughters" to the completely unfunny (and shortlived, thankfully) ABC show "Carpoolers." I watched that for the SOLE fact that Goss was in it.

I barely made it through the pilot episode without switching channels. I never watched it again. Good riddance to that (and Cavemen!) being cancelled.

Is still on and its new? Why don't they just call it You Tubes weekly top ten?

And Miss Guided would have been better had Chris Parnell was the main character. When are we getting the DVD of Cavemen so I can buy millions of copies so they bring it back? I think they should redo that show, AXE the cavemen part. And cast Terry Crews, Grizz and Dot Com in stead. And make it about yuppie black men who don't fit in the yuppie white world.

ashton kutcher should be shot...he wasnt funny on the 70s show..and he never got better...his only good movie was "the butterfly effect" but other than that he plays the same doofy character over and over...very fittin that his co star from DUDE has had tons more success....hollywood stop giving him he time of day, please.....and stop saying "punkd" is a revolution....just makes u look stupid

That's the way to do it...a hardnosed no-nonsense ex-pat Brit living in American and dishing out old fashioned justice. Glenister could improve upon the role he owns and make a fat load more money in the process. I still want to see Glenister play Oliver Cromwell in an historic episode of *Doctor Who*. Talk about perfect casting...
Colm Meaney's always good and that is indeed brilliant casting

though I think he's be even better as that mysterious other cop who's trying to use Sam to take Hunt's department. And Genister reprise the role of Hunt, but baring that I can't fault them on casting Meaney. The real worry is who's that dude playing Sam? And is it even remotely possible he'll be anywhere near as good as John Simm? Crazy though but wouldn't Alexander Siddig have been good as Sam Tyler, not as good as Simm, but it would be pretty cool to have the Chief and Bashir back together again. And he'd be better than a lot of people in the role. He could do lead. And it would be a similar dynamic to their DS9 relationship.
